Motorcycle specifications KTMSuperduke 1390 R GT 2025 Scroll the landscape

Tourism is strolling along back roads, smelling the countryside and the pine trees in the Landes forest in summer temperatures... This definition would almost be the one in the French Larousse dictionary! In Austrian, the translation would surely be different, especially when it's KTM that does it with the new 1390 Super Duke GT, which has its very own vision of the GT ..
sporty Grand Touring
the men at KTM have a very different vision of grand touring from their German counterparts at BMW. For this Super Duke GT 2025, the basis is already very sporty, even extreme, since the bike is in fact based on the technical framework (frame/engine) of the brand's very nasty, even violent roadster, the Super Duke R EVO. For 2025, however, the KISKA DESIGN team has completely reworked the GT's styling compared to the old 1290, no doubt to mark the change in displacement, but also because the old one wasn't very... pretty!
this 1390 is still transgressive and aggressive, but I have to admit that its styling is less strange than its predecessor. The headlamp opens up in the middle, still with that Alien face, the side scoops have been modified, as has the fuel tank (which holds 2 liters more fuel than the roadster). The rear hull now hides the trellis frame loop, and a new seat has been added for the passenger, which is (perceived to be?) thicker. Behind its exterior, then, the Super Duke GT could be docile? The bubble (adjustable to two positions) is now black, and the handguards are still there, a good point for winter touring.
behind the bubble, the rider finds an 8.8-inch TFT (H88) touchscreen instrument panel. Featuring a simplified menu structure, the CCU3.0 also ensures easy reconnection with your smartphone each time the bike is switched on. Although touch-sensitive, the screen's functionalities can be used by pressing a button on the handlebar's commodos. The quality of this screen, recently introduced by KTM, should ensure legibility in all light conditions. With a resolution of 1,280 x 720, the screen is capable of displaying 256,000 colors, compared with 65,000 previously. This display can be connected to wifi, bluetooth, GPS, has a 32 GB memory and is also Android-compatible. The multitude of information it is capable of displaying is almost infinite, and you'll easily find navigation (including offline) or the ability to customize the display. Your friends are bound to be jealous of your beautiful gadget
from 1290 to 1350 cm3 and 190 hp!
even though it bears the name 1390, the Super Duke saga actually cubes 1350 cm3. The GT shares the latest LC8 V-twin engine with the 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO 2024. Compared with theold GT, KTM has not seen fit to retain an overdrive-type 5th and 6th gears. Too castrating for the engine ... no, in Austria we like it rough, nasty. The latter gears have therefore been revised to make the most of the twin-cylinder's potential.
by gaining 49 cm3, the engine also gains quite a few nags. the 1390's cavalry has been bolstered by 16 wild horses, bringing the total to 190 hp. Torque increases less rapidly (+4 Nm) and is now 145 Nm. KTM should provide a seatbelt to fasten the passenger's seatbelt, because if you're spinning like a pig, corner exit relaunch may well surprise your sandbag.
this revised riding experience extends to the various modes, which have also been revamped. Rain, Street, Sport and an all-new Custom mode will be available as standard, in addition to 2 optional Custom configurations and an optional Track mode. The addition of front radar adds a host of features such as adaptive cruise control, brake assist, distance assist and group driving. Demo mode is also available for the first 1,500 km, enabling customers to try out all the available technologies and make an informed decision on which technology package will best suit their daily needs
chassis-wise, the Super Duke GT 1390 version 2025 adopts the latest generation of WP APEX Semi Active Technology (SAT) suspension front and rear. The Comfort mode has been improved to offer greater comfort on long days in the saddle. Rest assured, the sportier settings will still allow you to escape to the track to slam a clock.
the Super Duke GT features Brembo brakes. At the front, it's fitted with a set of Stylema four-piston monobloc calipers gripping 320 mm floating discs, while the rear is equipped with a Brembo two-piston floating caliper and a 240 mm disc. Under your hand, you'll enjoy the new MCS (multi-click-system) front brake lever for ultra-fine adjustment of its position. This biting braking is controlled by cornering ABS, Supermoto ABS, as well as the new Supermoto+ and Sport ABS modes. Enough to get lost in..
the tires are Michelin Power 6 with dual-compound technology. Finally, Michelin's categorization of these tires as "Sportif Trackdays" perhaps best defines the spirit of the GT. A roadster disguised as a tourer capable of touring on the racetrack. Austrian tourism is very exotic indeed!
