presentation of the 1000 X-TRA RAPTOR 2003
an extravagant machine with a generous piston stroke, the V-Raptor is now joined by a more upscale version, the X-TRA. With its razor-sharp face, matte black paintwork and carbon accents, this machine looks as if it came from an American stealth plane. In the guts, still the strength of the big Suzuki twin, in this case 105 hp. Let's not look for engine or performance modifications, because that's where it's at. This X-Tra features carbon in the seat backrest, exhaust covers and, above all, in the alienesque structure between the headlight and the fuel tank. A steering damper appears between the forks of the 43 mm inverted fork, betraying a bike that's livelier than the V-Raptor. In fact, this X-Tra is shorter in wheelbase and 30 mm higher at the rear. As a result, the seat height is higher, ground clearance has been increased, and weight distribution has been modified: from 46% / 54% to 50 / 50. This X-TRa 1000 V-Raptor is produced in 1,000 units, each bearing an identification plate on the handlebar trigger guard.
