What's changing in 2020
in recent years, Norton has presented an increasing number of new models: 961 Commando California, Atlas 650 Nomad & Ranger, and this year's Superlight 650 SS... But production has suffered from the brand's financial woes and questionable management.
since late 2019, the future of the English brand has been more than uncertain. Declared bankrupt at the end of January 2020, Norton was bought by Indian giant TVS in mid-April. No motorcycles will have been produced this year, but orders are not cancelled and may even be honored (little by little) in 2021. Some forty commandos will be built, followed by V4s. After that, Norton will be back in the Atlas business.
