presentation of the CB 750 SEVEN FIFTY 1996
Who cares about monsters of technology and power when you're determined to ride in the simplest, most authentic spirit of motorcycling? The Seven Fifty is exactly the opposite of an R1. Honda's response to extreme sportiness with its notorious discomfort is a tried-and-tested basic design. It's a roadster with a classic design, a 16-valve, air-cooled 4-cylinder in a double-cradle tubular frame, 2 rear shocks, a round headlight and handlebars - the kind of machine that's ageless and will last for centuries. Accessible to all, the CB 750 is surprisingly easy to ride, admirable in town and regal on country roads. The real lack of protection doesn't encourage you to take the long fast lanes. But that's no problem. The smoothness of the engine maintains a carefree driving style. No more speed cameras, blocked needles or blown tires in 3,000 kilometers. It's motorcycling and that's that. Young riders will surely be frustrated by such a quiet machine. It's not a Monster S4 or a Buell X1, and that's not why you choose it. The Honda CB 750 is an invitation to rediscover primary motorcycling pleasure. Fashion doesn't dictate its dress, any more than 1'42"218 dictates its way of being.

Also is very reliable and comfortable with high quality materials and classic design!
Must have this bike!:d
Cheers to all! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Adinel
i've had the beautiful 1995 bordeaux since 2013, acquired with only 4700 kilometers, so new for these 18 years!
i wouldn't part with it for anything in the world! i wouldn't put one or two others on the side, but i certainly wouldn't let go of lady seven
its timeless look, its "spirit", its quality of construction and materials, nothing to say, it's pretty and it ages remarkably well
easy to handle, it gives you confidence from the very first turns of the wheel. an ideal machine for one-up or two-up riding, with or without luggage, imperial and cool on the Limousin's secondary roads, and never one to balk, and why not even a bit of an arsouille from time to time, enough to show off some young girls..
full engine, ultra-available at all revs, torquey as it should be, but not racy or crime-ridden, a true carbureted 4-wheeler, a true Honda!
i'm not even talking about the machine's legendary reliability, or its ease of maintenance; you can do almost everything yourself. new oil once a year, a little love, and it'll take you far, far away....the most-mileage bike known, having passed 300,000 k without (too) much trouble!
la seven doesn't excel at anything, but it's good at everything - that's what we ask of it, that's all...;-)
the only downside is the immoderate love of coffee-makers and chainsaws, of which seven has become the favorite prey...all those cut frames :-(......dommage et tant pis, les châssis intègres prennent d'autant de valeur..
voila, I've said it all, you can tell I love my seven? ;-)

i was lucky enough to find one from 1995 with 9300km, new condition I improved it a bit
comfort saddle, stainless steel radiator grille, chromed speedo and speedo tower covers, polished
i'm 72 years old and have owned a large number of motorcycles. I started out very young, with a 125 peugeot, motobécane then several 350 jawa on which I passed my driving test at the age of 16,then triumph, norton, bsa a7 and a10,I've tasted the 750 four k2one new and 3 used,I'm going to stop listing them there are too many I've tasted a harley 1200 sposter custom, some w650s, a cb1100ex, several xjr 1300s, but I can't remember how many sevens I've had, and I've always come back to this machine, never any worries, just routine maintenance, and it's with this machine that I've done the most km, I think I've lived a biker's life that's no longer possible today, in those days there was a real biker spirit and you saw very little of it, I really miss those days

My best bike was a Buell but my knee was starting to hurt (hey! yeah....56 years old... 30 years of motorcycling... that's unforgivable!) so I calmed down and enjoyed this 750 that I fell in love with.
The only complaint is that it's a bit front-heavy for short maneuvers without putting your foot down. The engine is great!

I run on Total SP 98, which cleans everything regularly. I avoid supermarket petrol because I've had clogged carburetors that've put my bike out of action. One solution is to clean the carburetor manifold or have it cleaned. I've got a Seven fifty I bought new that's 26 years old and runs like clockwork. I wish you a good ride and many more kilometers! I bought a 2003 seven fifty 46oookm from a guy in Aveyron. After refurbishing it, changing the oil, cleaning the pots etc....I find it really nice. Completely different in driving from my Mt 09 tracer that I have, I really enjoy it. I love its torque and ease of driving. I think I'll keep

It's reliable, healthy, unsurprising, good at everything, bad at nothing... What's not to like?
2/3 things: a slight lack of power, a shame to have castrated the CB750's mill, which drops from 7.1mkg and 90hp to 6.3mkg and 73hp... I've heard that the bike's reliability has improved as a result! In fact, many of them have gone round the odometer several times!
Let's go on to the main criticism: the brakes... Not bad in itself... But it's over 20 years old and you can feel it! Better not to be too optimistic!
Out of the box... It's hard to go wrong with it, it starts up again at any rpm, it's great for solo, duo, city, road, freeway, you can even go on a trip with it if you've got the right top case. Very decent fuel consumption, precise trajectory (given its age), comfortable, inexpensive to buy and maintain. You can even go for a spin, as long as you keep the odometer above 6,000 rpm...
I love my Seven! It's a great bike! Rating : 4/5 Respond to Niklos

i love its look and its superb silver-colored engine, it looks great and it's a beautiful, reliable machine, summer and winter alike.
no electronic problems like most of the speed monsters like kawa 600 ninja, always bothered with injection or other various problems due to the overbuilt engine so I sold it and keep my grandmother who has 57000km. Excellent comfort, I'm 1m93 tall and it's made for me. Some will say it's heavy and hard to handle, but not for me with my 93kg. From a performance point of view, it's sufficiently stacked, it drives well and beware of radars, it's not a buggy. Rating : 4/5 Respond to krisst
Very good bike, accelerates well, brakes very well. In short, it's great on the road and in town. It's easy to maintain, endearing, in short, nothing but good...
As for faults: the sides of the frame break (easy to repair), a bit limited on the freeway (maybe with a high bubble...). Er... J\'ai bien chercher, je ne vois pas d\'autres défauts... Ah si... It's missing a fuel gauge and warning lights. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Niklos

i've always had several old tachos in my garage (mz etz 250, triumph 3ta from 1964, among others)
After an accident with a yam v max, I decided to take it easy for a while, but I started to get the itching again, so I bought my sevenfifty from a dealer a year ago, just before Christmas.
Conclusions after 11000km.good roadholding in the rain, forgiving of all faults, no slipping on white lines or tarmac strips, fuel consumption from 5.5 to 6.5 liters, depending on how you drive.very torquey engine (a real pleasure)
I found a second-hand luggage rack complete with top box and suitcases for 150 euros (a good deal)
I haven't had any trouble with it and little by little this bike is regaining my confidence in terms of reliability and sturdiness, as all my Japanese bikes at one time or another gave me big bills.
The finish is pretty good too, considering that I wash my bike on average three times a year.this bike is a real millstone, not to be hesitated to buy for bikers who are broke or simply don't want to spend all their savings on a spout.objectively, a bike to be recommended
viex motard 50 piges Rating : 5/5 Respond to vieux motard
A timeless motorcycle if ever there was one, it can adapt to almost any situation. As for torque, there's nothing better, but let's not forget that it's not a twin. The 4'pat n\'is certainly not the most demonstrative of the moulbifs, but it still picks up in 5th gear at 40 km/h at 1500 rpm.
Relatively comfortable, it's not afraid of long trips. In fact, it's an all-rounder.
Its weight, far from being a disadvantage, allows it to sit comfortably on the road, making it very forgiving.
If there's one bike left, it's this one.

is it normal for the gears to click when hot
1st 2nd 3rd. i said "clacking" and not "cracking", it seems that this will fade with time. i was told to use a different oil. but the engine oil also makes the gearbox. so be careful not to use just anything

Very pleasant motorcycle for every day and for weekend rides, I've been riding it for two years, a used one bought at 32000 kms in 1999 and after two oil changes without any other cost (hydraulic valve adjustment) I think I'll keep it for years to come, perfect motorcycle for the biker that I am..., reliable mechanics and easy to maintain, budget for this motorcycle: the fuel pump and py is all...!

Faults: heavy steering, corrosion to worry about (how?), heavy to move, fuel gauge?
Rating : 5/5 Respond to chicboy
only downside: it's hard to handle by hand
my overall opinion is very positive! Rating : 5/5 Respond to BT
I've just bought a used one, 75000kms black, at the argus price and superbly maintained, (it's beautiful as anything!)
It's been 35 years since I last got my ass back on a 4-wheeler!
i have to admit that with age and my marshmallow kneecaps, I find it a bit heavy. Al'arrêt, I tasted this WE the grass of the embankment while stopping with a stop on a small departmental road, not proud I managed to get up again in saddle all alone, fortunately nobody saw me!
Memories come flooding back, she's really great and runs like a Swiss watch!
A few more kms to master the weight of the beast and I could take Mum for a ride.....!
Otherwise, it's a lot of fun
Young or old beginners, nostalgic for the Seventies, this is the essential motorcycle, a true love story
Rating : 5/5 Respond to jhrb
i find it very "classy". it's not tricky and rides very well. the range is good, the braking very correct and its weight is, in my opinion, an asset for keeping a good trajectory in windy conditions. on freeways or expressways, you have to lie down on the tank to avoid seeing your arms grow. apart from that, it's a delight. a secret: while riding it, i talk to it and it sometimes seems that it listens to me. Rating : 5/5 Respond to jcl
It's a bit heavy at low speeds, but as soon as it picks up the revs it's a real joy. I feel safe on it, and it's beautiful too. I'm not about to change
I just bought it from a guy who didn't have the owner's manual, if anyone knows where I can find one?

top case, personal seat, windshield. Top engine, average braking, good road holding, a bit heavy at standstill, but so endearing, low maintenance, low fuel consumption. The ideal bike. Buy one now. Rating : 5/5 Respond to wegee86
Rustic, economical and reliable
You can do almost anything with it
In short, it's just a tinker
As some people have said, when it comes to accessories
it's not great
It gets dirty and takes a long time to wash
Lighting: on winding roads, it's almost worse than a trail bike
The original brakes are just about right
(The avia pipes are an undeniable plus)
Low-speed weight, which may surprise smaller riders
Inertia in "fast" mode (moderate ...), which requires a little experience. On mountain passes, once you've started riding one after the other, it's not
to let yourself be surprised by its weight, because then, to get it back ..
In conclusion: I love it! Rating : 5/5 Respond to LeJM
currently and since 3 years I am "maked" with a formidable "SEVEN FIFTY" of 2003. Soft saddlebags, sleeves(he! yes) high bubble; a real GT
i'm looking for "seveniste" in my area (toulouse/albi) and technical info. Rating : 5/5 Respond to PAPOUNET
Loaned by my best buddy to start out on the road, it went back to its first owner and still runs like a plane (50,000 km)
Unforgettable memories, a year and a half of pleasure on the road in all conditions
A pure, rather retro look (4 in 2 chromed, and old-fashioned frame), a big "old school" roadster classified as a tourer by insurers, which helps to get good rates
Maintenance is ridiculous, the bike is robust, reliable and well finished, and the four-legged frame is unbreakable. Power is sufficient (a little short with two people), but in any case, this is not a hypersport bike
Mind you, given its stability, a biker who knows how to turn will be able to light up a bunch of leeks in some nice curves (experience), getting some funny sensations, especially given the bike's somewhat limited braking
Surely an unbeatable quality-price-pleasure compromise, this bike was designed for two-up riding, and you can feel it. Rating : 5/5 Respond to will74
Although I own several vehicles, this is the bike I use the most. It's very reliable, starts in all weathers and requires very little maintenance. It's also a low-consumption bike that's easy to handle, but it does have a few shortcomings: not enough torque down low, which means you have to go for the revs, and less-than-optimal braking compared to more recent bikes, so beware when riding in a group... Otherwise, this is a bike to recommend to anyone who wants a carefree motorcycle... Rating : 5/5 Respond to Poum Poum
What to buy for 2000-2500€? I've tried a scoot (beurkkk!!!), a trail (850 tdm), and I came across the one I use TLJ: 1992 model, a maniacal ex-owner, and only 34000 km at the time
To say that it's really nice to be able to sleep outside without being splashed by the zone, and to take me to work without flinching won't surprise you
I've done nothing on it, except change the oil/filter, put petrol in the tank and air in the tires, even greasing the chain was "outsourced" to a scott-oiler..
Okay, I had a spinnaker seal that started to become slightly incontinent, but that's normal when you're climbing sidewalks to get ahead
And then this winter, I had my only breakdown, and even then, in front of the house: a spark plug cracked (????? is what the dealer explained to me when he handed me a 69€ bill, 47 of which was for "troubleshooting and removal and fitting of 4 spark plugs")
Other than that, it's a real pleasure, and frankly, reliability and economy of use at this level, a very nice look too, good comfort, all at 2200 €, what do people expect?
=> HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE CARAFON. Rating : 5/5 Respond to upatou

My bike is dark burgundy, with a polished aluminum block that stands out wonderfully; I think it's superb (an impression of quality and class), so different from today's 1300 or 1400
In terms of use, it's a pleasure to ride, too: supple, safe and economical
Its main drawback is its comfort (in the saddle)
The beauty is now over 10 years old, and is 62MK in the bag

I think the rear amortos are getting tired. Should I replace them with Honda ones or go for another brand? If anyone has experience, I'd love to hear from you
Looking forward to seeing you on the road

Otherwise, my CB is great: I've done 20,000 kms on it and it's given me nothing but satisfaction
The only small problem is that no more Honda accessories are available! That's a shame

Bonne route et prudence. Rating : 5/5 Respond to j_p79
i bought a CB 750 1996 black
18,000 km in August 2000
104,000 km with no particular worries
After 15 years of driving and more than fifty
fifty machines tried out on various occasions
occasions, it's this loyal Honda to which I've become
i've become attached to, which I prefer to many
expensive, fragile and greedy modern machines
with time, I've learned its mechanics
its mechanics, and as a result, it has only met the
mechanic only twice since I've owned it
since I've owned it, notably for the timing chain
changed at 82,000 at the same time as the secondary
transmission kit that was original!
The CB seven fifty is a sturdy bike,
economical, with a timeless silhouette that's
the vagaries of fashion, even though many
even if many "Sunday-riders-at-the-cash-box
don't understand that it also corresponds
a state of mind. Rating : 5/5 Respond to vietkind
It barely scratches the 200 mark and is considerably lacking in horsepower, in fact it's a calf
With my wife, we go to the seaside or to France and from start to finish, I don't go below 140 with many km at over 180km/h
It holds up and it's true that it's the ideal bike for beginners
Unfortunately, I like to hear an engine when it sings, and this one quickly reaches the end of its song
I'm thinking of selling it because it's still riding very well, in good condition with top ar and full fairing
At the end of 2005, I'm thinking of buying a cbr1100 to rev it up again
My seven has 55000 km and always starts at the quarter of turns and it is for that that I chose it

salut et bonne route à tous Rating : 5/5 Respond to counifle
It's a '92 model with 35,000 kms. I'm often asked if it's new, as the finish is quite durable. I like its retro '70s look, with lots of chrome. As for the engine, you have to rev it up to get a response, but it's above all a bike for cruising. Rating : 5/5 Respond to hubert

supple but soulless engine, brakes on time, easy planing in corners.Reliable
On the other hand, I notice that the friends who made the comments didn't take the spell check option. What a disaster! ah if my poor mother could see that!

It's a great bike, with enough trunk space to climb Mt Ventoux at a good pace and to cover the 25,000 kms covered this year
Unfortunately, some little twerps thought it was funny to tag the saddle and tank with cutters and break the speedometers. But even with its scars, I still find it just as beautiful
She's in the garage, waiting for the purse to allow me to change her clutch and treat her to a visit to the doctor. And maybe some plastic surgery to erase the ugly marks of her aggression
well, I love this bike and I'm proud that a friend has chosen one of her sisters to learn the joys of 2-wheeling
bonne route à tous et espère vous croiser sur les routes de france....... Rating : 5/5 Respond to jul
