presentation of the 350 EXC-F 2013
The power of a 450! The handling of a 250! With a maximum power output of over 45 hp, the KTM 350 EXC?F terrorizes the E2 class. Ultra-compact engine with 57.5 mm stroke and 88 mm bore, equipped with modern electronic fuel injection and a wide rpm range. This guarantees highly efficient handling and controllable traction on any terrain.
engine
The dimensions and weight of the KTM 350 engine are almost identical to those of the 250, but its superior performance is due to the maximum reduction in moving masses. The power delivered from low revs right up to the breaker would bring a tear of joy to the eye of any enduro rider, whether pro or novice! Torque like that can't help but move you.
engine management
Keihin's EMS represents the ultimate. With electronic fuel injection and 42 mm throttle openings, it ensures spontaneous, powerful responsiveness and driveability. Automatic temperature and altitude compensation are also integrated. With the optional Map-Select-Switch (PowerParts), you can easily select different engine characteristics. Thanks to the User-Setting-Tool in the PowerParts program, you can individually modify and adjust the EFI mapping of the KTM 350 EXC?F 2013 via a laptop. This ensures maximum performance in every situation.
lighter crankcase
Lighter: die-cast crankcase instead of sand! A significant reduction in wall thickness, without compromising stability. The result is a lighter engine and improved handling. A special high-strength aluminum alloy ensures maximum resistance to damage.
valve timing
The DOHC cylinder head features four ultra-light titanium valves. Combined with rocker arms measuring just 8 mm (0.31 in) with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, they enable maximum revs of up to 12,000 1/min. Compared with the SX-F engine, the camshafts are less power-oriented, focusing instead on a wide, enduro-specific rpm range.
frame
The lightweight frame of the 2013 350 EXC-F, made from high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel, boasts excellent torsional rigidity. It also absorbs the impact of the suspension remarkably well, further enhancing the handling and comfort of the KTM 350 EXC-F.
new DDS clutch
The new DDS (Damped Diaphragm Steel) clutch: the clutch housing with timing gear is machined from a single piece of high-strength steel. The result is unbeatable reliability. It also allows the use of thinner steel plates. The result is an extremely compact design and a slimmer motor. An elastic washer enables additional hub damping - an invaluable advantage in terms of traction and gearbox durability. The Brembo hydraulic clutch and spring washer ensure easy, controllable progressiveness.
individual suspension adjustment
Top adaptability: 48 mm Open Cartridge fork with adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping. Every model is custom-tuned. New high-performance fork oil and seals offer improved response for smoother damping properties.
high-quality wheels
High-quality CNC-machined hubs as standard on all KTM wheels. New black spoke coating improves corrosion resistance and centers the new, extremely strong GIANT 7050 aluminum rims. New MAXXIS FIM tires specially designed for KTM provide excellent grip, precise handling and long life.
trim
The 2013 KTM 350 EXC-F features an ergonomically slim fairing with excellent contact points between rider and machine. It offers unlimited freedom of movement. Redesigned graphics ensure a more modern look.
handlebars
The 2013 models feature tapered handlebars made from extremely strong Neken aluminum. For the 2013 model year, new bi-component grips with KTM logo ensure excellent feel and better grip.

I want to buy a 2012 ktm 350exc-f..

i'm 54 years old and the proud owner of a 350 EX CF 2013.
After having had several KTMs (7th) . This is my second 350 ... The first in 2012 took the place of a 250 (2007).
The first 350 was really a great compromise between my 250 and the 400 I had before (no more piston stroke) and much easier to handle.
The 350 allowed me to do everything (a Morocco raid, a Brazil raid) without ever having had the slightest problem, even with Brazilian fuel, in faraway places 4000 km without a hitch. And of course the good old Breton Sunday rides.....
With the 2013 ... Recently, I've had very few comments on the differences, apart from the impression that, to date, I've been hyper-performant but a little less FUN...
I'll have a look at my multiplications again, and why not ask for a cartographic correction, if possible adapted to my use...
And if a major flaw for me (1.69 m) difficult even with high heels .and how to lower this bike without making it lose performance .....à hear you on it ...
Seat modification
Modify suspension...
Ou autre ...
Happy man in 2012 d\'avoir the chance to ride this kind of bike .... Rating : 4/5 Respond to MG
