surprising, but yes, the famous razor manufacturer did make a motorcycle in the early 20th century. In 1903, Wilkinson Sword built some of the first motorcycles in the UK, and in 1911 developed the Wilkinson TMC for military reconnaissance. Unfortunately, the motorcycle had limited success, and in the late spring of 1916, production ceased and the company was called upon to produce thousands of bayonets for the war effort.
