1956 - present
today, Tomos is a well-known manufacturer of mopeds and motorbikes. The factory was founded in 1954, in the town of Koper. This marked the beginning of a fascinating history of development and production of Tomos two-wheelers. In the same year, the company began marketing its products under the TOMOS name (at the time, they were manufactured under license from Steyer-Daimer Puch). Over the years, the company's success and the demands of its customers led to the development of mopeds and motorbikes of remarkable shape and style, easy to maintain and suitable for city dwellers and country lovers alike. Tomos mopeds quickly conquered the market outside Slovenia, especially in the Netherlands and the USA.
