the first Hamlet motorcycles were produced in Denmark in 1904, using a reinforced bicycle frame as a base and a Fafnir engine - the Moto-Reve or Motosacoche brands were also used. Only a few of these machines were ever built. Later, the factory began producing mopeds and small three-wheeled utility vehicles.
in 1939, a small motorcycle was unveiled. A model equipped with a 98cc Fichtel & Sachs engine and a two-speed gearbox. Production of this model ceased in 1943 due to difficulties in finding a replacement for this German engine during the war.
around forty Hamlet motorcycles remain in the world today.
