News SC-Project offers exhaust systems for the Kawasaki Z 500 and Ninja 500.

Want to make your Kawa twin-cylinder roar even louder? SC-Project has got you covered. The Italian exhaust manufacturer has developed several systems for the compact Z 500 roadster and its sportier variant, the Ninja 500.

SC-Project’s research and development department has embarked on a project aimed at optimizing the performance of these bikes. With this in mind, the company has designed two mufflers, the first of which, the innovative SC1-X, is intended for street use. Available in a Euro 5+ compliant slip-on version, the muffler is inspired by the iconic SC1-R model, designed for competition, and delivers a 1.2 horsepower gain at 8,900 rpm, while ensuring a continuous improvement in power and torque at low and mid-range RPMs. In terms of sound, the SC1-X delivers deep, throaty tones.

Note that SC-Project offers a second silencer for Kawasaki 500 models intended exclusively for racing use. The CR-T was chosen for its compact size and reduced weight. Available in titanium or carbon fiber, this silencer delivers a 1.2-horsepower gain with a torque increase of 1.2 Nm at 5,200 rpm, while shedding nearly 3 kg in weight.

With its SC1-X silencer, SC-Project offers an approved system that will satisfy A2 license holders interested in either of these motorcycles, while improving engine performance at low and mid-range RPMs.
