SC-Project unveils two new mufflers designed for the KTM 990 RC R, the latest hypersport bike from Mattighofen. Developed to optimize the performance of the Austrian twin-cylinder engine, these two slip-on systems—available starting at 520 euros—come in titanium and carbon fiber finishes. They are designed to meet the needs of both track riders and street riders.

CR-T M2: Track-Ready Performance

Intended exclusively for track use, the CR-T M2 follows in the tradition of the MotoGP-inspired exhausts that have made the brand famous. This non-street-legal racing version stands out for its high-strength carbon fiber construction, complemented by a honeycomb-style titanium tailpipe grille.

• Weight: 900 grams (a 70% weight reduction compared to the 3 kg of the stock part).
• Performance: A gain of 2.5 chevaux and 2 Nm of torque at 8,800 rpm.
• Dynamics: Significant improvement in the power curve at low and mid-range RPMs.
• Equipment: Supplied with a custom-made carbon fiber side guard manufactured in an autoclave, featuring titanium mounting inserts.

SC1-R: The street-legal alternative

For daily and sporty use on public roads, SC-Project highlights the SC1-R, a Euro 5+ certified model. Larger in size, it features a slightly tapered geometry achieved through hydroforming. It consists of titanium internal components, combined with an outer shell available in either carbon fiber or titanium.

• Performance: An increase of 1.9 horsepower and 1.7 Nm of torque at 8,800 rpm.
