News SPIDI unveils the Hyper-V Pro Perforated: a high-end leather racing jacket.

Ahead of the upcoming launch of its new suits featuring Airbag technology, Italian manufacturer SPIDI is expanding its line of sports gear with the Hyper-V Pro Perforated jacket. This model draws on the brand’s long-standing expertise in leather craftsmanship to offer gear designed with safety and riding performance in mind.

Design and Ergonomics

Crafted from Italian cowhide leather with a thickness of between 1.0 and 1.2 mm, this jacket is designed to provide optimal abrasion resistance in the most exposed areas.

To preserve freedom of movement, SPIDI incorporates accordion-style leather panels behind the shoulders and above the elbows. The inner side of the arms, meanwhile, uses stretchy, abrasion-resistant synthetic fabrics, reworked to optimize the garment’s overall ergonomics.

Safety Features

In terms of protection, the Hyper-V Pro Perforated comes standard with a set of CE Level 2-certified protectors at the elbows and shoulders. The jacket is complemented by external Warrior reinforcements on the shoulders, designed to absorb impact energy and facilitate sliding in the event of a fall.

The jacket also features slots for adding optional certified back and chest protectors.

Ventilation and Modularity

Designed for sports use, the jacket features a fixed mesh lining and zippered air vents on the back to promote airflow. It is designed to accommodate additional thermal or waterproof liners. Finally, a connection zipper at the lower back allows the jacket to be attached to compatible pants.
