presentation of the 750 MONSTER 1998

In the Monster family, the most mythical is the 900, the first, the only. Its plasticity attracts the crowds, but there are some who dare not take the plunge, intimidated by the big twin-cylinder's somewhat wild behavior. Not enough watts on the 600? No problem. Appearing after its two siblings, the 750 Monster is right in the middle of the line. Offering far better performance than the 600, it's even livelier than the 900, although the latter is easily superior in torque. Benefiting from the big sister's aura, the teenager doesn't hesitate to dip into the cupboard, taking over the big Monster's double discs and even its handling. Its handling is excellent on good roads. We'll be less complimentary when the tarmac deteriorates. Its main asset is that it's less impressive than its predecessor, while still delivering the typical pleasure of the Bologna twin. The lack of watts is felt mainly at sustained speeds. But a Monster isn't designed for highway cruising, with your nose to the speedometer at 200. A beautiful girl like that needs to be taken to the envious glances of passers-by.

Super , MOTO
French Très bonne Moto Model 2000
I've had the 750 for a year now. Great bike, very reliable, even puncture-proof. Only fault: lack of power. Rating : 5/5
French Dom. Model 1999
The best bike I've ever had (in 30 years of service....) the power that goes well (and that's enough) the perfect braking, the chassis (stiffer than that there's no need), I changed the handlebars to have a straighter position (Ducat Scrambler type) and it's perfect! Relative comfort (I'm a softy) and weight (198 kg) meant I only gave it 4 stars.... For reliability, just buy something less temperamental, but for character, there's plenty! And for comfort, I worked on the saddle... But because of the ZFE in my area, I might not be able to keep it, damn it. Rating : 4/5
Fiabilité sur modéle 1996 ?
French joel Model 1996
I'd like to buy a 1996 model, but a former MONTER salesman told me that the first MONTER 750s were unreliable. What do you think? Rating : 5/5
retour aux sources ... du plaisir
French Didier37 Model 1999
i had a Monster 750 carbureted from
96 ... the first ones. Riding it is nothing but pleasure, happiness, and when you're riding you get that goofy smile... that says you feel good. Sold it 3 years ago for a Japanese 1100 twin-cylinder cardan, 3 years I regret and I'm going to buy another one ... more expensive :( because it doesn't depreciate on the contrary ... but no choice !
i need one.
Rating : 5/5
French mosi Model 2001
Very good chassis. The engine is sorely lacking in power, but remains a very good bike in the Mostro spirit.

Forza DUCATI
Rating : 3/5
French fayeserigne44
A very powerful bike, I really love the Ducati Rating : 5/5
top!
French Alex Model 1996
i've been riding it for 8 years, never any problems, maintenance costs similar to a suzuki650sv my friend had.
high speeds aren't its forte, it does 190kms/h, but on the other hand, it's a big potato!
super fun to drive and not too expensive in insurance,
Rating : 5/5
French Gros Ben Model 1996
a friend who swears by Ducat lent it to me, and it's fresh, it's a pleasure bike, and what a potato!
it's not made for long trips, but country roads become a real pleasure
what's really nice is the power, which comes on very quickly; no need to rev it up..
see you soon bikers
Rating : 5/5
French fred Model 1996
what can I say! it's the bike I've always wanted and now that I've got it it's great! (I'm a young biker) it's my first and if you're careful the maintenance isn't abusive. who said ducat wasn't for novices? it's like a pastry, once you've tasted it you've adopted it! in short, long live the monstro! Rating : 5/5
