presentation of the Pagani 300 Sport Classic 2019
FB Mondial hasn't given up its taste for sports bikes. There are now two in the range, very similar but not of the same displacement (125 or 300). 15 years after the Piega, the small Italian brand turns away from ground-to-ground missiles to charm on the 125 and A2 side. With the 300 Pagani 1948, the neo-retro accent of a dress placed on the HPS 300 roadster can be apprehended. The approach is successful. And mismatched mirrors aside, it's clear that the design confirms its place at Mondial.
the name of this bike refers to the racing driver Cirillo "Nello" Pagani. A prestigious name for the brand, to whom he brought a 125 World Championship title in 1949. His career also took him to the 500 and Formula 1, to say the least.
Today, the 300 Pagani is no longer about speed, but about sporty pleasure. Equipped with the same chassis and 249 cm3 single-cylinder engine as the HPS, it boasts 25 hp and 2.4 mkg of torque. The inverted fork, spoked wheels, stylish dual exhaust and single-disc braking per wheel are also featured. The mudguard, on the other hand, has been filled in. The riding position promises to be more incisive, the handlebars having been replaced by bracelets. However, it's high enough not to make it too tiring.
At 130 kilos dry weight, this Sport Classic is not very heavy. The passenger will instantly feel unwelcome, resulting in a solo ride with just the right amount of total weight on board. Rest assured, the passenger footrests are always there just in case.
a very affordable price for its cubic capacity means it can stand head and shoulders above the R3 or Ninja 400 (to name but a few). The 300 Pagani boasts a price tag 20% to 25% lower than that of its rivals, whose engines are almost twice as powerful. Only the Mash TT40 really stands out.
But why a 1948 in its name? Because that was the year in which Pagani scored its first victories with FB Mondial.

The only reproach for this price is that it could have been fitted with real tires and paid more attention to the finish, at least for the Pagani
All in all, a very good bike! Rating : 4/5 Respond to Scorpiox85
If you want a bike that looks like a KTM, don't try to compare it with a Mondial and go buy a Zontes, it's absurd. Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation
