presentation of the CB 1300 Super Four 2003
honda's return to the big roadster clan has seen it return to the successful recipes of the Yamaha XJR 1,300 and Suzuki GSX 1,400, and it's about time the world's leading manufacturer brought a machine of this type to our market. Since the demise of the X-11, nothing! Honda had to think twice: the bland CB 1,000 didn't convince, the X-11 didn't find its clientele, and the Hornet 900 is in a different league. So, what about this CB 1300? Elegant lines, respectful stature, a classic double-cradle frame holding a vigorous, modern 1,284 cm3 4-cylinder. OK, nothing revolutionary compared to the other Japanese machines in this group; and yet, this machine bewitches more than any other...
the ride is extremely pleasant. Comfortably seated on the well-designed (but slightly firm) saddle, you enjoy the extreme flexibility of the engine and pleasant controls. The clutch and gearbox are a delight. From then on, you can concentrate on the essentials: driving pleasure... and let yourself be intoxicated by the 4-legged, fuel-injected engine. Discreet at low revs, it leaves you a short time to hang on to the handlebars before pushing off in a bewildering fashion. A generous squeeze of the throttle after 3,000 rpm and you're in for a real treat all the way to the end of the rev counter; no matter what gear you're in, the boiler has so much in the belly that it plays tricks with all the gears. With so many watts, it's surprisingly easy to get the 250 kgs out of the way. The pace picks up. You can even go for a sporty ride, and the machine follows. No need to move your body, everything is done with your right hand. Curve approach, braking: power and feel are there.

Very torquey, you can stay at 30km in last gear if you know how to play with the clutch, like a cdf 600 in motion, which means you have to ride it like a 600, which results in good fuel consumption, as the machine is already greedy when ridden smoothly.forced to part with it from 2022 because of the critair, this big rip-off
In short, a superb motorcycle, very easy to handle on the move, supple, torquey, braking, roadholding, ras....its only shortcomings are its weight when stationary and its fuel consumption...otherwise nothing but happiness. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Martko
Doctor jekyll or mr hyde?
Beautiful and tenebrous, the muffled sound then. Cavernous barks as soon as you hit 3,000 rpm. Cornering is easy thanks to a 2.5-degree caster and michelin tyres. Bi gomme pilot road ll .la precision de conduite est redoutable avec le ralenti bien réglé ,une tension de chaine et les suspenssions bien régles. Rating : 5/5 Respond to vinci26

She sleeps in the garage and takes care of her
Good bike but it ages badly
There's a trace of rust on the lower fork crown (electrolysis occurs at the junction between the aluminum and chromed steel forks)
Screws and bolts not too clean either
Still under warranty, I'll see my dealer for advice
HONDA ... it's not like before
I'm going to part with it for Hayabusa
Did I fall on a bad series ..
Thanks guys . Rating : 5/5 Respond to johe che
a bike just the way we like it, no need to turn the handle to go forward or overtake
great looks
great handling, solo or duo
what's missing is a center stand, the gimbal, for riding far, far away
i've yet to find any fault with it, apart from the two pockets that vibrate from time to time
i'm rediscovering the pleasure of a vfr
a little barter for the road acros, when you see a "twin" radar (laser sight on a fixed point) make little zigzags IT WORKS very well, but I didn't say anything
see you soon Rating : 5/5 Respond to titus
minor drawbacks: exhaust too quiet and huge volume. a 6-speed gearbox wouldn't go amiss, as would a universal joint. but I'm taking off, my oil is cooling off. tchaaaaooooooo!!!!!!!

A little more difficult for a sporty pace, especially in the sequences. But I guess you'll have to get used to it!
Bonne route à tous

The CB 1300 combines power, flexibility, handling and comfort, so there's nothing to complain about with this machine
Oh yes, I'm 45 and from the South of France. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Bruno
Having said that, it seems to me to be an excellent machine in its category. Smoothness, smooth controls, engine trunk... What's really impressive is its balance: it handles like a bike, despite its considerable weight. The position is super-natural, and everything falls into place. When riding in traffic, beware of the mirrors, which fall right at van height. The wide saddle doesn't always provide optimum stability at standstill if you're short on legs; watch out for puddles of petrol at the station or other slippery roads. On the practical side, the under-seat locker provides ample space for your anti-theft equipment, without the need for external supports. In this respect, the attachment point seems to be limited to the front wheel, although it is possible to attach a U to the bottom of the frame to secure your machine to a fixed point using a chain or another U
I don't yet have enough feedback on the duo
Have a nice trip

As I ride it every day, I just added a little bubble to protect it from the elements, and it's really effective
