from 2003 to 2020Kawasaki Z 1000 - Style and watts
The Kawasaki Z 1000 kicked the roadster style of its day into high gear. With its flute-like exhausts, worked rims, acidic colors and clear-cut personality, the Z was not only provocative, but also presented itself as a near-customized production machine. Its 4-cylinder engine, derived from the ZX-9R, was surprisingly hollow at low and mid-rpm. The second version reworked the block's availability, while the chassis was strengthened. In 2010, a 3rd version transcended the bodywork, and the engine grew to 1043 cm3, with much greater breathing power. In 2014, the Z 1000 completes its mutation with bio-mechanical forms bordering on roasting. It's with this 4th installment that the machine will end its career. Kawasaki will use the Z 1000 as a basis for the Versys 1000 and the Z / Ninja 1000 SX.
