ducati wanted a roadster with more muscle than the Monster S4Rs. So they created the Streetfighter from a Superbike 1098. Suffice to say, the machine was formidable and insane as soon as it was launched. A little brother, the 848, soon followed. Since then, every generation of Streetfighter has had two versions.
The big Streetfighter disappeared for a few years, leaving the field of madness occupied by the Monster 1200 R. Then it came back much stronger, with a demented V4. The machine now exceeds the power of most hypersports on the market.
