News HJC is re-entering the children's helmet market with its Y 10.

Children are not the core market for motorcycle accessory manufacturers. It’s always a delicate matter to take a young passenger along (caution must take precedence over passion). HJC is making a comeback in the children’s gear market with the launch of the Y10. This full-face helmet is specifically designed for young passengers, with a first size range (YS) starting at a head circumference of 48 cm. Available starting at a size of 48 cm and compliant with the ECE 22.06 standard, the new HJC Y10 full-face helmet features a specially designed shell and is priced under 100 euros (for the solid-color version).

Design Adapted to Children’s Physiology

Rather than simply scaling down an adult model, the Y10 is based on a design architecture tailored to the physiology of young riders. Its outer shell is made of polycarbonate. To accommodate the range of available sizes (from YS to YL), the manufacturer uses three distinct EPS inner liners, complemented by removable, antibacterial comfort pads. The helmet weighs 1,250 grams.
