presentation of the 765 Street Triple R A2 2025
The Street Triple is once again allowed to play at A2 level. For a long time, Triumph's fearsome roadster has had a penchant for young licence holders. First with the 675, then with the 660 version when the 765 came on the market. But when the 660 Trident appeared, with its 35 kW bridle, the manufacturer quickly realized that it was cannibalizing the 660 Street Triple, and removed it from the catalog.
As a result, young riders found themselves without a Street to sink their teeth into. Especially its edgy design, its vindictive mug, its unadulterated feeling of a sporty, provocative roadster. The public seems to have taken umbrage, as 2025 (and a little earlier) sees the reintroduction of a Triple R with 70 kw in the tank and enough to cut it in half.
Without touching the block. The 3 cylinders will continue to shake in the same displacement, with identical super-square ribs, transmitting its power through the anti-dribble assisted clutch and the geared gearbox. With its 95 hp (at 10,100 rpm), this machine slots right in between the 81 hp of the Trident and the 120 hp of the standard R model. Maximum torque is recorded at 7.2 mkg, at 8,750 rpm.
The little Triple loses 21% of its power and 1 mkg. But if you're an enthusiast of trajectories and efficiency, rest assured that the rest of the bike is identical to the R "full". Whether it's the frame, the all-round adjustable Showa suspension, the Brembo M4.32 brakes, the tires, the 189 kg or the ergonomics, the 765 Street Triple R 's excellent road performance will be maintained. Only the RS version (intended for riders who are already on a diet) can match it.
The electronics are also identical, with deactivatable traction control, 4 riding modes (Road / Sport / Rain / Rider), wheelie control, ABS, angle-sensitive assistants, Up&Down shifter, LED lighting, and more.Down shifter, LED lighting, a USB socket and a small TFT display in the multifunction instrument panel (a little boxy for our taste; the bike deserves better) where Bluetooth connectivity is activated - you'll need the accessory module to take advantage of all the functions.

The Street Triple 765 R A2 will arrive in September, in the same two colors and at the same price as the R. As you can see, it's really only the engine that changes.

* Once bridged, power is 47.5 hp at 8,000 rpm, and torque returns to 6.3 mkg at 7,750 rpm
