presentation of the 650 PEGASO STRADA 2005

the Pegaso leaves its trail suit behind and dons a typical supermotard outfit. and just as well: it fits like a glove, and it's this year's fashion. With its stylish forkhead and rims copied from the RSV-R 1000 Factory, it's a real eye-catcher. equipped and even over-equipped, this Strada version gains a complete new instrument panel with digital display (analog for engine speed WHERE MotoId = 1866), a coded-key anti-theft device, a passenger handle, a huge front brake disc and 2 lockers. The main one under the seat, the second on the fuel tank, which opens via an electromagnetic system controlled from the handlebars.

the Rotax block is replaced by Yamaha's mono 660. It's a fuel-injected mill with almost 50 horsepower that'll give you turbulent ideas. The machine is lightweight, with a low seat, lowered suspension and sport tires. The Italian promises to be a very pleasant machine.

French Golgoth13 Model 2006
2006 model, fun, fun, fun motorcycle. Terrific in the mountains and on roadtrips. Very maneuverable, with powerful Brembo brakes. Easily climbs to 180. Single-cylinder Yamaha core offers plenty of thrills for a fuel consumption of 5 liters per cent in cruising or commuting mode, and a minimum cost of maintenance and insurance. Significant space under the saddle and a practical, closed fuel tank compartment. Cool monochrome digital instrument panel with fuel gauge, trip 1 , trip 2, lap times. Lack of gear indicator and average fuel consumption. Pleasant 5-speed gearbox. Excellent seat and riding position. On the other hand: Abs rare. The Strada is to be preferred to a Yamaha XT in my humble opinion, and even in 2023 deserves a closer look. Rating : 4/5

Hello
I have a Pegaso 650 trail 2011, which I used to start by just typing a code and without keys
But by mistake I selected the 'update' option and now the on-board computer asks me to insert the key, which I don't have
what can I do to start it up again using the code?
Sincerely

Hello,

I invite you to contact an authorized dealer in order to obtain this very technical information, which is dangerous to provide on an information site such as ours.
There's nothing to tell us that your model isn't stolen, and that you're the owner. With information like this (even if I doubt you can start a motorcycle just with a code on a dashboard), anyone could start a Pegaso, and therefore steal one.
Consequently, this information cannot and must not be provided via the Internet.
All the best

Hi there,
i have a motorcycle aprilia strada 2007, nice bike, good power, but too bad explosion on deceleration on the exhaust apparently normal for kaiser ...

i've had this bike for 6 months: sceptical at first, as i was switching from a 650sv to the aprilia pegaso, i've been delighted ever since! very easy to handle, comfortable (lacks a bit of wind protection over 110km/h), practical with a box under the seat and on the tank.recommended for those who want a light, playful bike with a minimum of comfort (inexpensive to buy, with insurance and maintenance). however, you have to get used to the character of the single-cylinder: very torquey, but "only" takes 8000rpm max. A weekend test drive thanks to the very dynamic APRILIA dealer on Reunion Island and what a pleasure
I wanted to give it a try to my wife so that she could change her old ( very old ) "DOM"
Well, I had the most fun with the machine, which is easy, efficient and playful. The only thing missing is a few hairs, but maybe I'm not used to that (I ride a supercharged Multistrada...)
No major faults, and this is a well-born machine
If... one major flaw.... The price...!!!
+ 1000 € more than an ER6, it's a lot to pay for fun...!!!!!

italian charm in the design, a safe, high-performance chassis, a Japanese mill for greater reliability and prepared aprilia sauce, complete, comfortable equipment, what more do you need? a slight reduction in price, and even that would be quibbling, maybe a light top speed, and even then, given the times, that's more than enough, and what's the point of taking the highway with a machine like this
beautiful, simple and easy to access, nothing to worry about for beginners or those just getting back into motorcycling

- As far as the engine is concerned, I was astounded by this catapult (model tested short of running-in, but air intake released + settings to go with it): here the piston stroke is immediately followed by an impressive thrust at low and medium revs; in short, my Dominator is like a plate of cold noodles; magnificent work by Aprilia, author of the "best mono in the world" on a disappointing Yamaha base
- As for the chassis, it's a low-slung bike, as light as it is stable, self-locking in corners, easy to lay down and get up: add suspension and brakes, and you've got everything you need for extreme ease of use and pleasure
as for the engine, I can't imagine anything better...

French Model 2005
I tried it out last week: GREAT! Peachy, superbly equipped, very easy and pleasant to place on corner entry, no injection problems (contrary to what is written in the reviews). There's plenty of storage space under the seat, and the one on the fuel tank is very practical. Only downsides: 1) it's not very smooth at low revs, so it can be a nuisance in town 2) it costs over 7000 euros... Rating : 5/5

Too bad this pretty bike is a bit expensive. The problem is also that there aren't many aprilia dealers. I tried the XTX and found it nice, but I'm waiting to see the strada. Rating : 5/5
French Model 2005
I'm waiting for it too. It's scheduled for release in April at a price of 6999 euros. That's a bit more than the XTX. But it's better thought-out, better equipped, more beautiful (that's my opinion) and the engine will have a bit more gniak, without, it seems, the injection problems. It's a tad expensive, but much less than the 650 GS or CS. Can't wait for spring. Rating : 5/5
here's a beautiful Italian: the Strada competes directly with BMW's F 650 Gs, RotaX engine (fun & playful) against a Japanese mecanic that has proven its worth over the last few years.
(injection-style reliability) I'm waiting for the dealership to come back so I can try it out ???
scheduled for release at the beginning of the year, end of January, beginning of April?
we're waiting for the 450cc bi-cylinder!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to know when this little bugger is coming out, as I'd like to try it out before choosing between this aprilia and the 660 XT X

Thanks in advance.

Take the same mill (mind you, I've read that it's been reworked and gained 2hp as well as 0.2mkg) and compare the results. On one side an XTX and on the other the Pegaso strada. Well, I prefer the latter a thousand times over. Bravo Aprilia! Can't wait to try it out on the market. Rating : 5/5
