The R 16 was a motorcycle manufactured by BMW from 1929 to 1934. Its 4-stroke twin-cylinder engine and 736 cc displacement allowed it to develop 25 horsepower at launch and 33 horsepower starting in 1932. The BMW R16 was sold for 2,200 Reichmarks. A total of 1,106 units were produced.
