Motorcycle specifications BMWF 850 GS 40 Years GS Edition 2021 The BMW trail spirit

There's something special about this F 850 GS: the color TFT 'Connectivity' display? LED indicators? Adjustable windscreen? The USB charger on the right-hand side of the dashboard? No, all F 850 GS models have these options as standard from the 2020 model year. So, let's face it...
It 's its very special color scheme, in which Deere yellow takes a distinctly eye-catching place. An anniversary in the retina, as this bike and its siblings 850 Adventure and 750 GS celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Gelände Strasse. Specific logos on the tank, rapeseed-soaked handguards and a two-tone saddle with stitched lettering do the celebratory job. Equipment in addition to the aggregation that all F 850 GS models have obtained. As with all "40 Years Edition" models, the PRO finish includes all available packages.
-the Comfort pack with center stand, Keyless Ride keyless system, heated grips and tire pressure sensor
- the Dynamic pack, with ESA Dynamic electronic suspension, Up&Down shifter and Pro riding modes
- the Touring pack, including cruise control, luggage racks and GPS preparation
- and the Connected package, with alarm, teleservices and intelligent emergency call system.
All this in addition to ABS Pro and DTC traction control as standard.
In the Pro Driving Modes, the 'Dynamic' setting has been revamped for added pep. It also includes DBC engine brake control. The commodo on the right of the handlebar can be fitted with buttons for pre-selecting up to four Driving Modes.
To facilitate on-board access, there's now an extra-low seat.
Of the three 40 Years GS Edition models, the F 850 GS is undoubtedly the one that best captures the philosophy of the original 80 G/S. Real off-road capabilities, a clear aptitude for touring (if you improve the protection) and still a twin-cylinder in the belly. Even if it's not a Boxer, with 95 hp, it's got what it takes to meet all the needs of its class.
