Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1920 Street Glide Ultra FLHXU 2025 New shores

The Street Glide Ultra follows in the footsteps of the Tourer. Destined to span vast territories, this majestic motorcycle is nothing less than a reinterpretation of the famous Electra Glide Ultra Classic. The more the road spreads out before it, the more it smiles.
Harley's Tourer revival
The Ultra confirms Harley's stylistic shift since the presentation of the latest Road Glide and Street Glide. The major styling changes are complemented by new lower fairings with sharper, less pudgy lines. This complements both the protection and style of the strikingly modern fork head. The windscreen itself is 10.16 cm larger, while the neck is fitted with new deflectors that can be adjusted if the need for air arises in summer.
Hidden behind this larger face, the rider benefits from 60% less turbulence than the Ultra Limited.
By going from bagger(Street Glide) to Tourer (Ultra), the bike gains in presence, demonstration, weight (+ 25 kg) and, above all, comfort. Especially for the passenger, with a large backrest to support back and elbows. You don't climb aboard, you settle in. Before that, everyone will have appreciated the Tour Pak, its obvious capacity and the possibility of fitting an extra large bag or other bulky items on the pack carrier. Load it up, it's ready to go. With the top-case, panniers and small storage compartments (4.2 liters each) in the lower fairings, carrying capacity reaches 139 liters. Luggage is protected by a pair of crash-bars. Heated grips are standard.
On seeing the arrival of the Street Glide Ultra, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it was simply a replacement for the old Limited. What a mistake! It starts by taking its place, gives it a run for its money on style and protection, crushes its ego with a bigger engine, and finishes by kicking its heel into the ribs on the entertainment front.
Rest assured, the Big Block is still with us. Except that the Milwaukee Eight takes it up a notch.
A much stronger twin
Bye bye 114. The powerplant is now the Milwaukee Eight 117, still with liquid cooling (for the cylinder heads). Displacement increases from 1868 cm3 to 1923 cm3, with spectacular results: torque rises by 6.6% to 17.8 mkg at 3500 rpm. Power output leapt from 87 to 107 hp, achieved at the same 5020 rpm. It would seem that Dwayne Johnson has taken care of its coaching, to have gained 1.5 mkg and 20 horsepower. Enough to lift and relaunch the beast's 393 kilos with complete peace of mind.
Does this number ring a bell? No problem. That's 23 kilos less than the model it replaces. Harley has also tackled the chassis with new Showa shock absorbers. The ride management system uses the Street Glide's 4 riding modes to supervise torque delivery, engine braking, throttle response, traction control intervention and ABS cornering sensitivity. Other features include cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, coupled front/rear braking, hill-start assist... and the latest generation of infotainment systems.
Multiple ways to entertain
With Skyline, America sees the future. A gigantic 31 cm screen, offering 4 times more display area than the BOOM! Box GTS. The system is Byzantium: GPS navigator, voice recognition system with conversational commands, WiFi, Bluetooth, smartphone pairing, Apple CarPlay (but not Android Auto), USB port, AM/FM radio, new 200-watt amplifier with 4 x 50-watt channels (twice the power of the previous model), and two 133 mm speakers mounted in the cockpit.
Quietly ensconced among the top Tourers for almost 15 years, the Ultra Limited has just been ousted by the new Street Glide Ultra. A real slap in the face for this distant descendant of the Electra Glide. But also an important step towards the future of the range and the renewal of its icons. The Street Glide sent shockwaves through the world with a complete redesign of its face - this Ultra version follows suit with new features designed to make it Harley's new queen of the open road.
