keeping the essentials and getting rid of the superfluous to enjoy the 88 twin cam as an egotist - that's the declared aim of the Street Bob. In the 50s, Harley riders kept only the bare essentials on their machines and rode with their hair blowing in the wind. The FXDBI is inspired by this "Bobber" trend, with "Ape Hanger" handlebars, a very low solo seat (the passenger is excluded, his seat and footrests having disappeared), turn signals placed under the controls, spoked wheels and a wraparound rear mudguard.

like all Dyna models since 2006, the 1450 is mated to a new 6-speed "cruise drive" gearbox and housed in a new frame. The clutch is smoother and the fork diameter has been increased to 49 mm. With its tall handlebars and respectable size, the Street Bob doesn't look easy to ride. Oh surprise, it's the opposite that awaits the rider. The machine is easy to ride, and allows you to have fun right up to the limit of your angle of attack. It rubs quickly, and braking, while not catastrophic, proves sufficient. Rebellious right down to the chrome, the Street Bob is now the gateway to the Dyna family, with a price tag of €13,600. Harley didn't add much in the way of equipment to announce such a price tag. In fact, that's the whole point. In addition to its stripped-down identity, the Street Bob offers another advantage: an excellent base for customizing this Dyna to your heart's content.

bonjour , i've had my licence for 1 and a half years, i'm 55 and it's my first motorcycle (probably the last... it's so comfortable) , i've customized it , it's true that HD is expensive , but when you like ..... briefly , my question is as follows , i'm 1 m 70 tall , i currently have the basic controls , i'd like to switch to the advanced controls , won't i be hampered by my (small) size

i got my license on 03/03/2010, and picked up my street bob black denim, advanced controls, screaming eagle pots, low handlebars, on 10/03. What a joy on the winding roads of the Ariège, the climb to Andorra with the cows turning around as I passed..

6 months of waiting and then the delivery..
Johnny Haliday took the same one as me ;) with the advanced controls, but I don't think he waited 6 months!
It's a real pleasure to drive; strong personality, great looks, pleasant gearbox, excellent roadholding and comfortable. It just wants to ROLL!

this bike is THE bike i've been dreaming about for years. metal, metal and more metal, no plastoc and other m*****, just beautiful!! new gearbox, new frame, reliable engine, charisma, class, sobriety... right now I'm riding a VTR and I'm bored with it, no more right to ride hard, log ergonomics, moped range, maintenance costs... nah nah... guys, i've had it since last saturday, and it's a real joy. i fitted the screaming filter, sreaming pots and stage 1 as standard. the torque and noise are great. i also fitted the advanced controls, which I prefer because I'm used to them. Otherwise, the handling is impeccable, thanks in no small part to the improved frame, fork and rear tire. the 6-speed gearbox is well spaced out and the engine is in quiet sixth gear, so I think it'll be able to go a long way. if you have any questions, go ahead, I'll try to answer them so you can wait. ordered in september, I've only got ten days to wait and as I've done a trade-in, it's even harder, especially as I've tried it twice, once on the day I ordered it and once to make me wait. it's really a pleasure, great road holding, good driving position, even though I chose the advanced controls. the 6-speed gearbox is super smooth and well spaced out. I have a sporster and I've just succumbed to the charm of the street. I didn't recognize myself in the other Harley models, and it was hard for me to switch. The street matches the cool image of the Harley biker and the Harley myth of the 50s
I tried it out and it was pure pleasure
I've got 6 months to wait !!!!!!! Less cool ...

The riding position is perfect (for me, anyway), and the beast's 300-odd kilos aren't a handicap at all. All in all, I've placed my order.
