among Harleys, the Dyna Super Glide Sport is one of the most enjoyable, if not the most enthusiastic. It didn't take much for this beauty to also lend itself to travel - and now it has. The recipe is simple: change the saddle, fit a windscreen and add luggage... Now it's ready for the long haul. The 2 soft panniers are of colossal interest: removable, they allow you to load a good quantity of your belongings - and these are taken care of, as the panniers are waterproof and fitted with an interior cover. The saddle not only improves comfort, but also the riding position, which is now more natural. As for the windscreen, while its style may not appeal to everyone, it proves to be both efficient and practical. A small knob on the dashboard adjusts the windscreen as required.
all the charms of the standard Super Glide Sport can be found at the wheel, especially the generous engine. The Twin Cam 88B offers power and thrills, and responds to the call as soon as it's made. One hell of a beast. This encourages you to play with the machine, all the more so as the chassis is homogeneous and likes to allow you to ride in a winding direction. But the suspension and weight won't let you be too energetic. Sport is a different word in the States than in Japan. Braking is no problem, with 2 discs squeezed by 4-piston calipers. The beauty has its minor faults, such as an impractical kickstand, moderately legible meters and annoying blinkers when the saddlebags are closed. Not really important compared to the pleasure distilled by the twin and the ride of the Dyna, which can now take you very far.
