presentation of the 1690 DYNA FAT BOB FXDF 2014
the spearhead of Dark Customs, the Fat Bob underwent a makeover in 2014. Once dark, now aggressive. Chrome seems to give him hives, so he's cleared it out, replaced by black on the engine and air filter cover, rear suspension, fork crowns, headlight surrounds, dashboard and battery cover. The aluminum wheels with slotted discs are powder-coated black and finished with a laser-engraved Harley-Davidson logo.
The dual optics are unchanged, and all the better for it. It gives the bike that hypnotic, bad-tempered, borderline devious look it's so well-suited to. At the rear, things take a turn for the worse. The mudguard has been chopped off, and a new dual LED taillight has been fitted. The Tommy-Gun exhausts retain a chrome cover on a squarer design, so bad boys will certainly want to spend even more time on this dark machine. And they won't complain: Harley has redesigned the seat, making it both sportier and more comfortable.
i love this sentence from the press release:"Dual front brake discs and an anti-lock braking system try to stop the monster". You've got to admit, it's scary to think about stopping when 320 kilos of metal are being pushed by the big Twin... Let's not forget that over 13 mkg are disgorged from the 1688 cm3. The steel frame, Dyna chassis, 49 mm fork and your paws on the big handlebars take care of the rest. On the streets, the Fat Bob wants to impose its authority. It's up to you to impose yours.

You speak of stage 2 and SE255 can you tell me apart from the SE255 what parts have been replaced (hydraulic pushrods, adjustable rocker rods and springs)
Thank you because I bought a 2014 fat bob in stage 2 it has the potato but heats enormously
Thanks Rating : 5/5 Respond to JMP
the downside is simply the finish, which is a little light.
apart from that, I'm happy with my fat bob. Rating : 5/5 Respond to jc
I already had the 2009 model with vtwin 96
And the 103 is nothing but happiness
If in addition stage 1 and stage 2, then it's heaven on earth Rating : 5/5 Respond to Didg92
at 1600km stage 1 SE filter and carto, big shots black Vance and Hines pots, and at 8000 km
stage 2, which includes SE 255 cams for a big torque boost
i can tell you that this motorcycle is fabulous to ride, but it comes with a standard European brake!
but I can tell you, having ridden one of these bikes, that it really kicks ass, with great throttle response, fabulous torque and sublime sound. Rating : 5/5 Respond to charly
Count on average between 750/900 euros.
As for the gain, as I explained in my previous post, the torque gain is fabulous and acceleration is terrific, but to get this result you need a complete line of exhausts, such as Vance big shots Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation

just a redesign of the seat, a different paint scheme and a bit of "DARK"... in short... Harley missed the mark this time on its model. Prefer a 2013 or earlier version, if possible with a Stage 1, which gives you more torque, less kick, and 10% more power, not to mention less heat. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Megatron
