Motorcycle specifications Indian1890 Chieftain Dark Horse 2023 A blackout on the loose

presentation of the 1890 Chieftain Dark Horse 2023
the wind blows, the thunder rumbles, with more room in the pistons since 2020. A few mm more piston bore allows the twin to swell to 1890 cm3. With new cylinder heads and a higher compression ratio, the Tunderstroke 116 gains almost 2 mkg of torque, maxing out at 17.3 mkg. Enough to tackle Milwaukee's best enemy while preparing for the approaching standards.
the Chieftain likes to evolve. 2019 had already done some heavy lifting: revised fairing, improved sound system, multi-character engine. These optimizations having been amply previewed with the standard Chieftain, let's see what this Dark Horse has in store for us.
ever since its introduction, Indian's darker Dark Horse styling has lent an intriguing depth to the Springfield machines. A layer between mystery and menace. This nocturnal ode crosses the shadows of other spotlights, leaving more essences on its exterior. Until recently only available at night, the Dark Horse is now available in a range of colors.
With its redesigned forkhead, less rounded suitcases and elongated saddle, the Chieftain may lose some of its solemnity, but gains in visual dynamism. A few changes in detail prove that Indian is seeking to gain in seduction: the rim spokes are machined, the Sioux head is back on the front fender, the exhaust system is covered with a ceramic coating, and duo appreciation is now standard. All in the same spirit that has animated it since its inception.
All the essential attributes of the Dark Horse family are here. You'll find the fork, mirrors, grips, switches, indicators, console, engine, airbox cover, pedals, footrests and taillight surround blackened. Of course, Indian Motorcycle offers a wide choice of accessories to further personalize future rides, including "Black-out": air filter, high-performance camshaft, as well as an audio system to be integrated into the pannier covers.
2023 is the time for touch-ups. The reworked headlight is almost anecdotal. The improved clutch, on the other hand, will be more noticeable. Indian has given it greater flexibility and less effort to grip the lever.

It's another world: more powerful, more torque, better handling
Recently, I replaced the air filter with a performance machine and the pots with Kess tech (oh the sound!, better than the competitor because more muffled, less metallic) + a pepper spray
It's even stronger. When I go out, I can't stop....... Rating : 5/5 Respond to Ritonlephoceen
