presentation of the 200 EXC 2013
Perfect union: the easy handling of a 125 coupled with power almost identical to that of a 250. The KTM 200 EXC redefines user-friendliness in 2013: electric starter, new cylinder head and new fuel injection! This makes it the ideal choice for enthusiasts of handling, comfort and sufficient power outside the usual competition classes. Those who don't want to sacrifice fun, but who want maneuverability and lower costs.
airbox
The KTM 200 EXC's airbox provides the 2013 model with maximum air flow for minimum dust or splash. The Twin-Air filter can be replaced in around 15 seconds, without tools. Absolutely "READY TO RACE".
individual suspension adjustment
The 2013 KTM 200 EXC features individual suspension adjustment perfectly matched to its weight and engine. at the rear, a WP Suspension PDS shock absorber with direct linkage above the swingarm. The fork's wide rebound range and Highspeed and Lowspeed compression damping are standard KTM features.
new fork tuning
The latest generation of fully adjustable 48 mm (1.89 in) Open Cartridge forks "Made in Austria" by WP Suspension guarantee the best behavior for more consistent damping properties. This is due in particular to the use of a new fork oil and new fork O-rings.
brakes
Dosability: Brembo® brakes come as standard on all KTM off-roaders. With Stahlflex braided hoses and lightweight Wave discs, they are a must for progressive braking performance and dosability. The improved rear brake cylinder features a new design. This reduces wear on the rubber seal and increases service life in rough terrain.
frame
The frame is made of top-grade chrome-molybdenum steel, with even greater lateral torsional rigidity. It is even better at absorbing shocks transmitted by the suspension, further optimizing handling and comfort.
optimized swingarm
The new lightweight forged aluminum swingarm of the 2013 KTM 200 EXC houses the shock absorber even more centrally, for better load distribution. The new PDS suspension, with High-/Lowspeed rebound and compression damping adjustment, is mounted flatter, offering greater progression.
bodywork
The KTM 200 EXC features an ergonomically slim fairing with excellent contact points between rider and machine. It offers unlimited freedom of movement. Redesigned graphics give the 2013 models a more modern look.
