from 2011 to 2026The Multistrada takes on the mountains.

With the Pikes Peak, Ducati wanted to make its Multistrada not only sportier, but also more symbolic. Both the climb and the name of this American mountain have given a reckless and sulphurous side to the big Italian trail.

The first version was distinguished by a Termignoni exhaust, a few parts and a racing deco. In 2013, the color scheme evolves and forged wheels are added.
The Pikes Peak is absent in 2015, then returns the following year with the technical evolutions of the Multistrada. The S version of the Multi' is fitted with Sachs semi-active suspension, while the Pikes retains its Öhlins equipment.

A new small station wagon will be available in 2021, followed by the V4 from 2022. The Multistradas abandoned the single-sided chassis, except for the Pikes Peak - which became a perfect intermediary between the trail bike and the Panigale V4.
In 2024, Ducati introduces an even more radical Multistrada: the RS. It did not, however, replace the Pikes Peak. The RS doesn't have the same engine, and its taste is more full-bodied than that of the Pikes Peak.
