presentation of the Rockster 410 2025
The image of custom bikes is inextricably linked to Harley. The scent of America, the rebellious spirit, steel, rock 'n' roll legends. But since the 883 was discontinued, the price tag has become hefty... too hefty even for young fans.
This leaves plenty of opportunities for custom bikes that are accessible in terms of both price and engine. The best known is undoubtedly the Honda 500 Rebel, which is now being followed by the Rockster 410.
Macbor's custom bike is set to make a name for itself and carve out a place in the market. For a 400, it has presence as well as style. Its Dyna-inspired rear, inverted fork, treaded tires, and well-filled volumes without being heavy—the exercise is accomplished with consistency, prompting curiosity to linger on this Sino-Iberian bike.
It identifies itself as a bobber. You could almost see a little hipster side to it. Its idea is to transport you to escape, to freedom. To do this, it has a 401cc engine. The first departure from the norm is that it is not a V-twin but a parallel twin. It will not be the first or the last to make this kind of departure. The Honda CMX 500, Kawa Eliminator, Morini Calibro, and many others have the same architecture.
Small, quiet heart
Its dimensions are super-square to prioritize power. The engine delivers 41.6 horsepower at 9,000 rpm. Torque is a little on the low side at 3.3 mkg. This makes the Rockster ideal for urban environments and occasional trips out of town.
Another departure is the chain drive. This type of bike usually favors a belt drive. The Macbor responds to this with a series of well-placed small arguments: a USB port, two 300 mm brake discs (rare for machines of this caliber), a 5-inch circular color TFT screen (with graphics that are not bad at all), traction control, adjustable brake and clutch levers that seem to be carved from solid metal, and a headlight with a sophisticated light signature (as on the Brixton). This machine wants a nice headline on its resume.

We're a little more skeptical about the slender swingarm, the Tupperware boxes on the sides of the engine, and the CST tires. Here again, the Rockster doesn't disappoint, offering a shockingly low price, a surprisingly light weight for a custom bike (185 kg ready to ride), a low and very accessible seat height of 735 mm, a large fuel tank with 17 liters of fuel, and a certain sense of recklessness.
The Macbor 410 Rockster is far from bland. After its looks, it entices you to get to know it with an aggressive price tag, 20% cheaper than its Japanese competitors. As always, the main obstacles will be making itself known and proving its worth.
