crocker Motorcycle Company was an American motorcycle brand founded in 1932 by Al Crocker. The company was based in Los Angeles, California, and produced high-end motorcycles from 1936 onwards.
the first motorcycle produced by Crocker was equipped with a 1000 cc V-engine, which was considered one of the most powerful of its time. Crocker motorcycles were hand-built and considered works of art, with elegant lines and impeccable finishes.
during the Second World War, motorcycle production ceased and Crocker worked for the war effort, producing aircraft engines. After the war, motorcycle production resumed, but competition from major American motorcycle brands such as Harley-Davidson and Indian made it difficult for the small company to survive.
in 1947, Crocker produced its last motorcycle, but the brand left a lasting legacy in American motorcycle history. Today, Crocker motorcycles are highly prized collectors' items and are considered masterpieces of design and engineering. Fewer than 100 Crocker motorcycles were produced, making it one of the rarest and most valuable brands in motorcycle history.
