ducson is a Spanish motorcycle brand founded in 1957 by engineer Eduardo Casasús. The company began by producing engines for bicycles, before moving into the production of complete motorcycles.
during the 1960s and 1970s, Ducson became a popular brand in Spain, producing lightweight, economical motorcycles for urban commuting. The brand was known for its build quality and reliability, as well as for its sport and racing models, which enjoyed some success in local competitions.
in the 1980s, competition from foreign brands, notably Japanese, made it difficult for Ducson to survive in the Spanish market. The company ceased motorcycle production in 1985, but continues to produce engines for bicycles and scooters. The brand is considered a symbol of the Spanish motorcycle industry of the 1960s and 1970s.
