Motorcycle specifications Mash125 Seventy Five Vintage 2016 The beginning of cinema

Naked

What's a little more vintage in retro? At Mash, the answer is the 125 Seventy Five Vintage. To keep the British revival alive, the Sino-French manufacturer has added a touch of deco to its stylish SUV. The Seventy Five goes black and white: the tank is painted 'black & white', the seat has white stitching, and the mudguards are also covered in white. In short, a pompous name to justify a specific color scheme and a 'classic' saddle. It's a recipe that works for many major manufacturers.

the Seventy Five Vintage is based on the 125 Seventy, with a number of changes to the chassis. The frail 35 mm fork has been replaced by an inverted 38 mm unit. Spoke rims have been upgraded to 17 inches, and wider tires are fitted. As for braking, it becomes more serious. The front disc is 80 mm larger, while the rear has a 220 mm drum. The new shock absorbers are said to be firmer. As a result, the Five should prove more rigorous on the road. In addition to these technical features, the fuel tank has been enlarged by 2 liters, giving a total capacity of 14 units. A flat saddle, knee-length grips, a mouth that hits the bull's-eye, and we've got ourselves a mini-Bonneville. Charm only you!

the little engine that powers the Mash also smacks of vintage. Derived from an old Suzuki block, it produces a dozen or so horsepower and decent performance, but nothing more. But that's not what we want from it. On the other hand, in terms of fuel consumption, we're talking real economy: in the region of 3 liters per 100 km, enough for a range of over 400 km. While we're on the subject of figures, let's put forward the Seventy Five Vintage's shock argument: its rock-bottom price. This can be explained by its country of origin, China. Manufactured in the world's largest economy, with its unrivalled production capacity, the Mash is widely accessible to all pockets. Chinese indeed, but with a French eye on production and on the coat of arms. You'll forget all that, and you won't even care once you're captivated by this machine's style.

French Pas35680 Model 2015
It's a good little 125, it's light and easy to handle, brakes well, vibrates a lot but this can be partly remedied by fitting a 14-tooth gearbox output sprocket instead of 13, it doesn't consume much, the finish is certainly average but at this price it doesn't really have any competition... Rating : 5/5
French Model 2016
very nice little becane for "cruising" in town, reliable and economical. on the road it is limited both by its engine and by the vibrations, which quickly become "tiring" above 80 km/h Rating : 5/5
