presentation of the 125 Dirt Track 2020
A new color arrives in 2020, with a distinctive physiognomy: it's backed up by the round headlight kit. Interested parties can thus choose a trend and a face, to more or less mark its presence without wavering in the threat. The porthole gives it more of a scrambler look than a dirt bike. But on the handlebars, nothing changes.
To get out and about on a variety of trails, the biker who's a bit sporty and/or country-style has multiple destinations in the morning. Trail rides, cross-country moguls, enduro rides of varying degrees of difficulty, and so on.
But there's a discipline that's not very popular with us, but very popular with the Americans: dirt track. Keeping the dirt track aspect (or similar), you prepare the glide, do away with the front brakes and throw everything you can at an oval. Mash thought there was something to be found in this area. And they've come up with a machine to match, the Dirt 125 (also available in 50, 250 and 650).
but let's get one thing straight right away: it's not designed for speedway gliding at 150 kph. Like the Canada Dry, this bike just looks like one. And the result is pretty good. With its big front plate flanked by a chunky number 4, the machine looks ready to leap out of the gate. It's a pity, though, that it had to be fitted with a piece of lenticular headlight. But for road use, it's not much of a choice. Piquant, almost waspish, the machine's silhouette makes it look like it came out of the championship. Megaphone exhaust, large guiodn, tapered, stitched saddle, rear shock absorbers and "racing" rain tires are enough to make you think about riding on greasy ground.
the
let's stay pragmatic. The Mash 125 Dirt is technically an urban bike with an itchy mouth. The finish shows the brand's efforts to give more cachet to these low-cost-vintage machines. Witness the polished, hand-painted and varnished fuel tank, the remote license plate holder, the aviation brake hoses, the backsplash with integrated light, or the post-classic fuel cap. Now let's take a different, more curious look at the U.S.-style dirt track. This Mash seems to have observed a lot to attract attention.

I highly recommend it if you're looking for a 125 ðŸ'ðŸ'.
Last but not least, the price is very affordable. Rating : 5/5 Respond to Jeannot
i've just read your review. I'm curious because I want to buy it and the comments on Mash scare me a bit
What would you have to say about this bike months later in October 2020?
Reliability? ride? recurring breakdowns (or not, for that matter...)
Did you sell it or not? If so, was it easy?
Thanks again
