presentation of the V7 750 SPECIAL 2013

on one side, the main battlefront, with 200hp hypersports with Superbike-like technical refinements, completely unrideable on the road.
Further back, the Revivals trend, motorcycles with designs drawn from the glory of a brand's past. Moto-Guzzi unveiled the V7 series, a revival of a prestigious lineage, with a Breva 750 at its heart. A competitor to the Triumph Bonneville at virtually the same price.

the V7 range was redesigned in 2012. This Special is a more vintage and provocative version of the basic V7. It ditches the spoked wheels for a more classic look and feel. A beautiful two-tone orange-red and white paintwork covers the fuel tank, whose capacity has been increased to 22 liters.

like all models powered by the 744 cm2 block, the V7 Special benefits from a major upgrade to its twin-cylinder engine. No less than 70% of the parts are new, both inside and out. The edges of the cylinder-head fins have been softened, and a new, classier cylinder-head cover has been added. The spark plug has been hidden and the volumetric ratio increased to 10.2:1. In the cylinders, much has been reworked: new combustion chambers, new pistons and rings, and a modified intake. Induction is now via a single 38 mm throttle body. The gas flow passes through a Y-shaped section to feed the two bowls. At the outlet, there is a lambda sensor for each cylinder. In addition to improved fuel consumption, this revised block boasts enhanced performance, with 48 hp and over 6 mkg of torque. The gearbox, too, promises improved comfort.

French Ambre Model 2012
Despite its modest power output, this bike is much more lively than others with more power. This is no doubt due to the engine's character, but also to the absence of any kind of assistance. It's more on the comfort side that we're lacking. Rating : 4/5
Du bonheur
French Murphy Model 2014
Having held a motorcycle license since 1970, and driving nothing but a Suzuki 125 VAN VAN for 20 years, I've just fallen for a GUZZI V7 II.
A look back at a meeting of the 3rd kind:
I hesitated between a last-generation Triumph Bonneville (the last one I owned was from 1970), and finally chose the GUZZI. What a treat, light as a bike, powerful enough (48 hp) for a return to a big cube, i'm having the time of my life, at 62 years old and 100 kg, what a pleasure to ride it solo, although 2-up is a different story, the original sound is perfect, but since I fitted mistral pots, I've rediscovered the sensations of 40 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after many tests on all types of motorcycles, I finally found what I was looking for; lightness, maneuverability, torque when needed, especially in the mountains, and all this in a melodious concert that demi-ande el popolo Rating : 5/5
Regrets éternels
French Théo Model 2014
So many regrets since the loss of my Bréva 750...a marvel of a bike, but so many faults (gearbox in particular). As for the rest, it's a dream come true!
I can't wait for my next GUZZI, in fact even my dog's name is GUZZI.
It'll be a V7 or a California and nothing else...

for 4 months now 3000 km the v7 2013 apart from the stiff rear suspension the bike is very pleasant. On small roads it's really fun and on more freeway rides if you stay within reason nothing to say. Cool handling personally I don't regret my purchase and the finish is correct otherwise I've put some super zard pots without overdoing it I recommend it. Rating : 4/5
French Model 2013
a little surprised at first, I thought I was wrong.
But no, it's a superb bike, as lively as you could wish for, with a pleasant sound.
Of course, it's neither a sports bike nor a tourer, but it's a real pleasure to ride.
however, if you're a passenger, the suspension is a bit harsh!
formerly a triumph bonneville, i don't regret my purchase!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Leontine
Why surprised at first?

my surprise came from the moto guzzi engine
used to triumph, the offset at the start caught my eye
it's easy to get used to!

My 2006 883 was starting to have a lot of miles on it, so... let's give it a try... Yum... it bangs, it vibrates, it picks up right at the bottom while snorting like a wet old dog, it's as hard as wood, it bends in like a spoon in nutella, all supple and delicious, it roars above 4000 and pushes gently up the ass without ripping off the arms.... In short, 45 minutes later... Ahh, you've got a 4-year warranty and a trade-in beyond my most optimistic expectations... Well, listen, Mr. Salesman, put a gray one on me, no need to pack it up, it's for immediate consumption... I'm finishing the break-in next Saturday and it's already a love story... Rating : 4/5
French Model 2013
A beautiful bike, a much-improved version, but a price tag of around 1,500e is too high for its performance and size. But try it anyway, and you'll see... Rating : 4/5

My 12th bike and the best ever!
super engine, with plenty of horsepower (50!) and torque at the bottom (everything you really need!), very smooth for a bi, very elastic, not vibrating much, and I suspect the designer of the pots must have worked at La Scala in Milan, they're so melodious!
perfect handling, a rail on the big curves (I've never taken so many angles!);2
(slight) downsides: dry suspension (I'm 64kg and don't appreciate
and it doesn't appreciate the city in summer under high heat, air-cooled) and that's it! for the price, a little more expensive, yes, but character and
no regrets...
However, CBR600, SS750 from 93, and T595 Triumph !...

Like last year, Mr GUZZI it is too beautiful but I would like the same V10 in GT version with fork head, suitcases, 80hp, 25 liter tank and l\'ABS for safety make there and I am a taker, Parole!!!!!! Rating : 3/5
French lafouine83 Model 2012
simply magnificent.
Mr GUZZI I want the same in V10 !!!
and you could even make an old-fashioned V10 GT
with a fork head with fixed bubble
the only concession made to modernism is the ABS
thank you

Owner of a Bréva 750, fragile, often out of tune, but "enormous" to ride, I'm under the spell of Guzzi's new beauties (deadly in yellow and black).
If I get my Bréva back, I'll go for it...

What do the people want? 200hp? to ride where? on the racetrack... ah...!me, I ride on the road and with my "gouzzi" v7 special 2012, it's absolute panard; light bike, super easy to handle and an engine with a big potato from 3000rpm, supple you start again on a trickle of gas at 2000rpm; and here, I'm talking to you while it's still running in (no more than 4000!) at least Moto Guzzi know how to put their horses where their mouths are, instead of herding huge herds of 10,000t to scare each other on gravel roads and radar traps...
And the noise, my friends! they don't force the customer
to buy "libéré\" pipe; Wagner's opera, homologated too... After 11 brèles, including a ducate 750 ss, a triumphant daytona t595, chabada with a pretty little girl with a big heart; love at first sight guaranteed, ma\'c\'est l\'amore ...now I understand the brand's fadas!!!!

Having owned a V7 special since the beginning of June 2012, I'm really enjoying the ride.
When I'm parked in the middle of Japanese motorcycles, passers-by only look at the Guzz! A motorcycle that makes passers-by turn around is beautiful.
A noise that doesn't sound like other roadsters and sports bikes with elevator machinery noises!
Average fuel consumption less than 6 liters per 100 km, range around 400 km. Gauge lights up at around 230kms.
