presentation of the 800 DRAGSTER RR Gold 2017
With a heavy wallet like an American twin, you can afford a lot of extravagance. That's what happened to an MV-Agusta 800 Dragster. A discerning customer asked for a very specific model to shine in any neighborhood. Seemingly carved from a block of gold, this is the 800 Dragster RR Gold.
The purchaser of this machine is hardly one for discretion. The bike appears to have come from the personal collection of the Mysterious Cities of Gold. A gold finish has been applied almost everywhere, with a special mention for the tank, which appears to be carved from a mass of gold. The rims are no longer spoked, but stick-spoke, presumably to make the finish even more visible. The parts that escaped this treatment are few in number, but nonetheless modified: carbon elements, special levers, indicators and grips, an embossed seat with topstitching, and a list of details that MV-Agusta preserves for its customer.
An eye-catching bike for fans of gold teeth and peroxide . The design is a star's whim, which can attract disdain as well as jealousy and admiration. It's all about presentation, and the customer hasn't seen fit to technically prepare the bike. This very special Dragster RR retains the mechanics and chassis of the standard model, already rich in emotion. A golden roadster powered by 140 horsepower, that's one hell of a looker.
