When the world of James Bond joins forces with solidarity: Daniel Craig puts two unique Triumph motorcycles up for sale for a good cause...
James Bond and an auction to benefit the RNLI for their 200th anniversary
In October 2024, two exclusive Triumph Bond Edition motorcycles, owned by actor Daniel Craig, will be auctioned to support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The event will mark the 200th anniversary of this lifesaving organization. The models in question, the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition #003/250 and the Tiger 900 Bond Edition #001/250, are inspired by the motorcycles seen in “Dying Can Wait”, the 25th film in the James Bond saga. These two motorcycles, which sold out immediately after their launch, will be signed by the naturalized British actor, and sold with a unique riding experience.
The lucky buyers will be able to take part in a driving session with Lee Morrison, James Bond's stunt coordinator, and Paul Edmondson, Agent 007's stunt double. The auction, organized by BonhamsCars Motorcycles, will take place at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show in Staffordshire, UK, on October 12-13, 2024, and will be accessible online and by telephone for international participation.

Daniel Craig, deeply attached to the RNLI, grew up near one of their stations in Hoylake. He expressed his pride in being able to support this institution, hoping that the auction would be a success to help fund their rescue operations. The bikes, accompanied by original V5C documents in Daniel Craig's name and a certificate of authenticity signed by the 56-year-old actor and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor, are valued at between £10,000 and £20,000 each.
Bloor stressed the importance of this collaboration in celebrating 200 years of the RNLI. James Stensel, head of BonhamsCars' motorcycle department, said he was honoured to be working on this exceptional project with such prestigious partners as the RNLI, Triumph, and the leading interpreter of the secret agent James Bond.
