Just a few days before the opening of EICMA in Milan, Kawasaki unveils a new addition to its famous "Z" range, arousing the curiosity of motorcyclists and brand enthusiasts alike.
The Kawasaki Z900 2025, always well received
This long-awaited model, which benefits from a significant redesign, is arousing renewed enthusiasm, particularly among fans of the Japanese brand. This is not the model with which Kawasaki will be touring the roads of the Tour de France, no it's the new Z900 which, without reinventing everything, is enriched by several updates. Its chassis, 948 cm3 engine and electronics have been optimized to deliver a smoother, more intuitive riding experience. The "Sugomi" design is accentuated, giving the bike a sharper, sharper look, while features such as cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation via a 5-inch TFT screen, and several riding modes are now included.
The SE version, meanwhile, benefits from top-of-the-range components such as radial brake calipers and Öhlins suspension. In addition, Kawasaki offers three colors for the standard Z900 (Black/Gray/Green, Black or Gray/Red), while the SE is distinguished by a unique Gray-Black-Green scheme.
The Akashi manufacturer's best-seller?
The brand, true to its challenger spirit, promises ever more improvements aimed at pushing back the limits of its iconic roadster family, and warns that the challenger spirit is stronger than ever: the Z900 imposes a powerful aura with refined design, and overwhelms the senses with every roar of its 948cc engine.
Availability and details in France
The standard version, a 70 kW version (suitable for A2 licenses) and the SE version of the Z900 will be available in France between February and March 2025, with pricing details to be announced at the EICMA in Milan.
The Z1100, Kawasaki's next surprise?
At the same time, Kawasaki is generating interest in a possible Z1100 model, which Wednesday's announcement will not fully satisfy. In a video teaser called "Performance", released last week, the Akashi-based company hinted at the arrival of a new model in the "Z" range. A way for brands to maintain interest in new products. With its revised displacement and Euro 5+ compliance, the Z1100 could embody Kawasaki's ambition to win over high-performance roadster enthusiasts, in the face of the latest market releases. For the time being, this will not be the case.
Without turning everything upside down, the Japanese manufacturer is refining and modernizing its roadsters in response to increased competition, and offering enthusiasts a new experience that denies nothing of its DNA. The Z1100 could be part of this logic...
