Bridgestone Corporation has announced that its premium BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32 tires have been selected as original equipment for Yamaha Motor Co, Ltd's all-new touring models: the TRACER9, TRACER9 GT and TRACER9 GT+.
This decision underlines Yamaha's confidence in the quality and performance of Bridgestone tires, the fruit of a long-standing collaboration between the two manufacturers. The TRACER9 models are renowned for their successful marriage of top-level sporting performance and practicality for everyday use and travel. The range's flagship model, the TRACER9 GT+, stands out in particular with the introduction of the Y-AMT (Yamaha Automated Transmission) system, enabling smooth gear changes without operating the clutch or pedal. It's also equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control for a smoother ride over long distances, enhancing the comfort of this sporty tourer.
BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32 tires have been specially designed by Bridgestone to fully exploit the potential of Yamaha motorcycles. These tires have been given the "Dan-Totsu" *2 designation, reflecting the integration of cutting-edge technologies developed by Bridgestone. The main objective has been to maximize the performance of the Tracer9 range in all road conditions.
BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32 innovations include :
- An enlarged ground contact surface for optimum grip on different surfaces.
- *Pulse Groove" technology*3 significantly improves water evacuation, stabilizing the contact surface and increasing traction on wet roads.
- Optimized internal structure for improved grip in both wet and dry conditions, contributing to stability, wear resistance for long trips and improved cornering grip.
