Yamaha puts the spotlight on girls with a new web series.

Yamaha announces the premiere of Race Like A Girl, a new six-episode web series that celebrates the inspiring stories of young women competing at the highest level of motorcycle racing, reinforcing our initiatives to accelerate gender equality.

The series will focus on the stories of women competing in the FIM 2025 Women's World Speed Championship. Yamaha is the only manufacturer supporting this championship, and supplies all the bikes in the line-up with the R7 model.

Created in partnership with Yamaha Motor Europe's Motorsport division, Race Like A Girl focuses on the women competing in the 2025 FIM Women's Speed World Championship (WorldWCR), where the 24 competitors race identical Yamaha R7s. As the only manufacturer supporting this championship, Yamaha reaffirms its commitment to offering equal opportunities and visibility to female riders worldwide.

Each of the six episodes will feature a talented female rider from the 2025 WorldWCR season, offering an intimate look at her personal journey, ambitions and challenges.

At Yamaha, we believe that motorsport should be accessible to everyone, regardless of gender, ethnic origin or social background. We're proud to be the sole manufacturer of the WorldWCR, but we want to go further with this championship and tell the stories of these talented and ambitious women aboard our R7s. With Race Like A Girl, we want to take another step towards positive change, developing our community and empowering the next generation of drivers, boys and girls alike.
Michael van Zomeren, Director of Marketing and Motorsport, and member of the Executive Committee of Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.

In addition to Yamaha's focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, this series also highlights the company's commitment to sustainable development. It reflects the company's ongoing efforts to support motorsport and the wider mobility industry, and to inspire new generations to pursue their passion for motorsports.

Episodes of Race Like A Girl can be viewed on the official YouTube channel, on social networks and on the Yamaha Motor Europe website.
