Italian-German manufacturer Metzeler announces its presence at EICMA 2025 in Milan, from November 4 to 9. On its stand (i54, pavilion 5), the brand will unveil three strategic new products designed to enhance its Supersport and Enduro-road ranges, marking a renewed commitment to innovation and performance.
The stars of the show will be the two new hypersport tires, SPORTEC 01 and SPORTEC 01 RS, and the KAROO 4 Street enduro road tire.
A move upmarket in the segment
For more than a decade, Metzeler's SPORTEC line has been a safe bet for sports enthusiasts, renowned for its balance of driving pleasure, versatility and wet performance. Heirs to the successful SPORTEC M7 RR and M9 RR models, these new tires benefit from Metzeler's accumulated experience in top-level competitions, including the famous Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, for which the brand has been the official tire manufacturer since 2023.
The SPORTEC 01 and its more radical variant, the SPORTEC 01 RS, are designed to push back the limits of supersport performance.
SPORTEC 01: Direct successor to the SPORTEC M9 RR, this tire is designed for sporty road use, offering a high level of control whatever the conditions (dry or wet). It features higher mileage and better wet-weather performance than its RS counterpart.

SPORTEC 01 RS: This version is the sportiest in the range, approved for road use but perfectly suited to amateur track days. It offers maximum grip, and is aimed at drivers seeking extreme road handling with the flexibility to go to the track without the need for tire changes.

Both models feature patented DYNATREAD technology, first introduced on the ROADTEC 02, whose adaptive tread pattern is here optimized for supersport use, improving grip and stability at high speeds.
The KAROO 4 Street: trail versatility redefined
At the same time, Metzeler is strengthening its offering for trails and maxi-enduros with the launch of the KAROO 4 Street. This Street-Enduro tire is positioned for predominantly on-road use (70% road / 30% off-road), and succeeds the KAROO Street.

This new tire responds to growing demand for models with an off-road aesthetic but offering top-level road performance, especially in wet and dry conditions. Dedicated to trail-GT owners, the KAROO 4 Street promises improved roadholding thanks to new profiles, more even wear and optimized acoustic comfort thanks to its lug design. It also retains good dirt road capabilities.
These three new products will be part of the Metzeler 2026 range and should be available for sale early next year.
