French champion Fabio Quartararo's winter livery is finally hitting the market. First seen during MotoGP testing in Sepang in February 2024, this design is now available to buy. HJC is taking advantage of the transition to the FIM-02 standard to launch the RPHA 1 v2 Snow Diablo, a radical racing helmet that doesn't compromise on style.
Fabio Quartararo's snowman design is leaving the racetrack and hitting the shelves. Officially named Snow Diablo, this special edition features a striking contrast of black and snowy white, accented by the iconic neon green of sponsor Monster Energy.
FIM-02: World-class protection
Beyond its icy aesthetics, the Korean manufacturer is offering a major technical evolution. Fifteen years after the RPHA-10 revolution, HJC is taking a new step forward with the RPHA 1 v2. This 2026 version not only meets ECE 22.06 standards, but also has the highly demanding FIM-02 (FRHPhe-02) certification, which is essential for high-level international competitions.
Made entirely of carbon using the PIM Plus matrix (a hybrid blend of carbon and fiberglass), the shell is lightweight yet offers optimized impact resistance. Priced at a highly competitive €749.99, HJC is making a big splash in the high-end racing segment.
Aerodynamics at the heart of performance
Developed in the brand's private wind tunnel, the RPHA 1 v2 has been sculpted to cut through the air. The goal: to guarantee absolute stability at speeds of over 300 km/h. Airflow management has been designed to eliminate lateral flutter and vertical pressures (lift and downforce).
For sessions on fast circuits, the helmet comes with a removable spoiler extension. This accessory, approved by the brand's GP riders, drastically reduces aerodynamic drag at the rear of the helmet, allowing the rider to remain fully focused on their trajectory behind the windshield.
A high-end, secure interior
Inside, HJC focuses on thermal and morphological comfort. The 3D foam is covered with SilverCool fabric, known for its rapid moisture wicking properties. To offer a millimeter-precise fit, the manufacturer offers four shell sizes for seven helmet sizes (from 2XS to 2XL), complemented by interchangeable cheek pads. Safety is not overlooked with the integration of a quick emergency extraction system.
Optics and accessories: The complete package
The RPHA 1 v2 takes care of your vision. Its 2D visor is equipped with new EASY double-pivot plates, ensuring a perfect seal against the 3D gasket. The locking system, doubled for safety, is positioned at the front left for easy handling.
Each helmet comes standard with:
A Pinlock 120 XLT anti-fog visor (the most effective in the range).
A second dark smoked visor.
A tear-off film kit.
The Snow Diablo has been available since December 2025.
