After reaching a new milestone last fall with the introduction of its carbon fiber version, the global leader in motorcycle gear is now rolling out new features to solidify its dominance in the high-end modular helmet segment.

A dark aesthetic and expanded accessibility

The most noticeable new feature is the introduction of a brand-new matte finish for the carbon version. This new "color" gives the F100 a particularly aggressive look, a sleek appearance that is further enhanced when paired with the tinted visor, available as an accessory.

But the evolution isn’t just aesthetic. Keen to meet the needs of the entire motorcycling community, the Korean manufacturer has announced the addition of a seventh size: 3XL. This expansion of the range, covering head circumferences up to 65 cm, applies to both the standard model and the carbon version. To ensure flawless ergonomics despite this range of sizes, HJC relies on a rigorous technical structure consisting of three distinct shell sizes and five EPS liner sizes, thus ensuring a precise fit for every head shape.

Carbon Technology for Performance

The F100 Carbon stands out for its cutting-edge design utilizing the AFC (Advanced Fiber Construction) process. This high-performance carbon fiber matrix enables a significant weight reduction, weighing approximately 100 grams less than the standard fiber version. With a weight of just 1,500 grams, this helmet embodies the brand’s technological expertise.

This lighter structure does not compromise safety in any way; on the contrary, it enhances impact resistance while offering a more compact and aerodynamic profile. Thanks to its 180-degree swiveling chin guard, the user enjoys exceptional comfort, whether the helmet is worn in full-face configuration or in jet mode (chin guard flipped back), ensuring optimal protection in both situations.

An interior designed for long rides

Particular attention has been paid to interior comfort. The F100 Carbon features a redefined internal architecture, incorporating softer comfort padding and a redesigned liner for stable support without excessive pressure. The interior is lined with an ultra-soft antibacterial microfiber fabric, promoting a lasting feeling of freshness. For impeccable hygiene, all foam padding is removable and washable.

The ventilation system has also been optimized to maximize airflow:

• At the front: A front air intake and an air vent on the chin guard with two opening levels (medium and high).
• At the back: A triple exhaust vent for accelerated heat dissipation
• Internally: The ACS (Advanced Channeling Ventilation System) ensures smooth airflow under the shell to minimize sweating.

Premium features and practicality

When it comes to visibility, the F100 Carbon makes no compromises. It features a retractable sun visor adjustable to two positions (with an 8 mm offset) via a control on the left side. The main visor, with anti-scratch coating, comes standard with a Pinlock 90 anti-fog film. Its mounting system allows for quick, tool-free removal for maintenance.

The helmet also incorporates essential practical features:

• Special grooves to facilitate the passage of eyeglass arms.
• High-precision micrometric buckle for a secure fit.
• Usage tip: For easy donning or removal, the manufacturer recommends positioning the chin strap vertically (90 degrees).
