Italian exhaust system manufacturer SC-Project is expanding its product lineup to include BMW’s latest models. Two new models are now available for the R 12 NineT and R 12 G/S, both powered by the 1,200 cm³ flat-twin engine that meets the Euro 5+ standard.
For the R 12 NineT roadster (2025 model year and later), the manufacturer offers the Twin CR-T titanium muffler, recognizable by its two stacked canisters topped with a honeycomb grille. Designed to replace the stock dual conical exhaust, this part weighs 2.2 kg, representing a weight reduction of 1.3 kg compared to the stock unit. Mechanically, the manufacturer claims a maximum gain of 1.5 chevaux and 1.5 Nm of torque, measured at 6,700 rpm, as well as optimized performance at low and mid-range RPMs.

For the R 12 G/S trail version, SC Project adapts its Rally Raid model, a muffler originally developed by its racing division for off-road use. Also made of titanium and featuring a 60-mm outlet diameter, it is available in high or low mounting positions to preserve the category’s distinctive aesthetic. The brand claims a power increase of 1.5 chevaux at 8,250 rpm and highlights the use of a reinforced mounting bracket. The claimed weight reduction varies depending on the version chosen: 2.3 kg or 1.9 kg saved compared to the 4.9 kg of the stock exhaust.

Both mufflers are Euro 5+ certified.
