News Victory and the championship title for BMW at the 2026 Bol d'Or.

BMW has finally conquered the Bol d'Or. Seventeen years after the debut of the S 1000 RR and this hypersport bike's first appearance in the legendary race, the Bavarian brand has claimed this endurance title that had eluded it for so long.
At Le Castellet, Team #37 also clinched the World Endurance Championship title. It was a superb double victory that Michael van der Mark, Markus Reiterberger, and Steven Odendaal secured with masterful skill.

Starting from pole position, the #37 bike experienced only one moment of hesitation: on the first lap, when the #12 Suzuki briefly challenged its lead before being overtaken on the Mistral straight. After an early part of the race marked by a fierce battle with the No. 5 Honda, the German machine pulled away and was never truly threatened again, sticking to its strategy and pace all the way to the checkered flag.

The BMW No. 37 won by a lap over the Suzuki No. 12 (Black Masson Linfoot). The YART Yamaha No. 1 (Hanika, Fritz, Mercado) rounded out the podium two laps behind, seeing its hopes of a second consecutive title slip away: having arrived in the south of France as the championship leader, it finished four points behind the German team.

Superstock and Production: Intense Competition on All Fronts

In the Superstock (SST) category, consistency and the ability to maintain a steady pace made all the difference over the 24 hours. The #77 SST Honda from the Wójcik Racing Team (Torres / Pawelec / Garzo) claimed victory in this category at the Le Castellet circuit, climbing to 6th place in the overall scratch standings. Right behind them, the #36 Yamaha from 3ART Best of Bike Hamaguchi finished with a solid performance.
For its part, the Champion-HERT team powered by MRP capped off a strong season by winning the FIM Superstock World Cup, despite finishing 20th overall in this round.

In the Production class—introduced last year to make international racing more accessible—the competition confirmed the enthusiasm surrounding the series following a grueling race. And it was the Audemar Motoclub Gémenos team that took the win. It was a well-deserved victory, as the team managed to put on a flawless race.
