presentation of the MRT 50 Enduro 2023
Among the multitude of 50s on the market, the Rieju MRT is one of the major players for budding bikers (in both senses of the word). It's often the first choice for young BSR holders, and a wise one at that. This machine is equally at home in urban areas or as a beginner's bike on the open road. With its studded tires and ideal enduro dimensions (80 / 90-21 and 110 / 80 - 18), this little Spanish machine can be used on goat tracks as well as on loose, bumpy terrain.
The MRT 50 is powered by the unmistakable Minarelli AM6 NG single-cylinder. Slightly less powerful than its former main competitor (the Derbi block), the Italian engine has adapted to Euro5, allowing many meccaboites to continue their career. True to Rieju's pricing policy, the MRT is offered at a reasonable price for its performance, although the equipment is decent, but nothing more. The absence of an electric starter allows you to enjoy a specific "pleasure": the kick.
Chassis-wise, the Rieju relies on a steel perimeter frame complemented by an aluminum swingarm. The seat height is substantial, like any good machine with high suspension.
The best-selling 50 with gearbox, the Rieju MRT 50 offers a wide range of two-wheeled pleasures. More demanding riders can opt for the PRO version, with better brakes, a larger upside-down fork, more efficient suspension and an upgraded engine.
