presentation of the GW 250 INAZUMA 2014
the Inazuma made its comeback in a surprising displacement. It was in the 250 range that the roadster returned to Suzuki. Around the year 2000, this name was used to adorn two models, the GSX 750 and the 1200, roadsters with a retro feel. Today, this genre has all but disappeared, and is only exemplified by the Yamaha XJR 1300 and Honda CB 1100. Does this Inazuma take up the spirit?
Absolutely not! It's a fresh, bubbly roadster with a strong B-King mini look. The monstrous son of the Hayabusa lends his features to a machine ready to conquer a new audience. With its muscular shoulders incorporating indicators, stylish headlamp, dual exhaust and trim pieces, this little roadster really looks the part. Times of crisis are hard on innovation, but push Japan to create motorcycles in the economic sense, forgetting to be sad. Because the GW 250 is far from insipid. It's better to look convincing in this hitherto unappreciated segment. Yam's YBR 250 has paid the price...
kawasaki has been in this segment for some time with its Ninja and KLX 250, and Honda has recently introduced its CBR 300. Does Suzuki's little roadster have what it takes to give them a run for their money? What does it offer in the way of an engine?
Well, a 248 cm3 block. It's an in-line twin-cylinder with liquid cooling, fuel injection and 6-speed gearbox, offering 26 hp at 8,500 rpm and around 2.5 mkg of torque. Although not a thunderbolt, this engine will be more than sufficient for city driving and will allow a few good jaunts through the region.
despite the "gigantic" rear mudguard, the rear end is nicely designed and the passenger handgrip looks serious. The chassis is simple but tried-and-tested, with a tubular steel cradle frame, conventional fork and swingarm, and one brake disc per wheel - nothing special, just functional. The GW 250 Inazuma's distinguishing feature is its silhouette. There are also a few aluminum parts and an attractive instrument cluster, which in addition to the standard info includes a fuel gauge, a gear indicator, 2 trip meters, a maintenance indicator, and a light informing the rider of his riding style: eco or not.
As Jeanne Mas would say, 'in red and black'... Here are the two colors in which the little Suz roadster will be available.

A very surprising bike, despite its small displacement, an endearing machine... too bad it lacks the horsepower for real long-distance touring, even if you quickly get used to the little monster's limitations... Rating : 4/5 Respond to Ghost
i needed a sober and efficient motorcycle to get to work. My fuel consumption averaged 2.5 l/100 km over the 2,500 km I've covered since buying it
handling and roadholding are surprisingly good for its somewhat heavy weight. torque and braking are all there. the finish is meticulous. Given the selling price, there's no competition. Rating : 5/5 Respond to xavi
elastic and powerful engine as long as you stick to the gears Rating : 5/5 Respond to indianajones

I can't wait to try it out myself.
I'm going to take this model for economic reasons (the cheapest on the market) and it will be my first bike. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Wilson
it's very well finished, and sounds just like the gs500.
The weight isn't a handicap, it's very light, and I get the same driving feel as my cbr250r, or at least nothing that bothers me.
It has torque from low revs.
To be confirmed over time, but I'm entirely satisfied. I look forward to picking up my red Inazuma on 6 Nov. Rating : 5/5 Respond to cbr250r

In short, either Greg Rattin is infused with SMS, or he writes his articles with his feet, or he dropped out of school in CM1? (what, all three?) Rating : 4/5 Respond to Fabien
The bike is normally already available from all Suzuki dealers.
Contact your nearest Suzuki, they'll be able to tell you more about the bike, and also about a possible test ride.

After that, I trust my suzuki dealer, it's the third becane I've bought from them, and he's not the kind of person who talks gibberish or lies.

I went to suzuki, they confirmed me again, that I was the first buyer, the machine makes well 32 horses and the price is 3999 euros, motoplanete can add these data in their files ;).
you know that the mono of the cbr250r is of new generation with shifted piston. when i run at 130 i don't have the sensation to pull on the engine dangerously. i'm at 8000 rpm and the beginning of the red zone 10 000.
But I'm going to test it over the long term and I hope I'll be there to give you more details ^^
as for the purchase of the gw250, I'm a city-dweller, I don't have a car, so having two bikes is a choice to have my freedom at all times. In case of accident, theft or breakdown. After all, a 250 isn't too expensive in terms of insurance, fuel consumption and maintenance compared to a bigger bike. Rating : 5/5 Respond to cbr250r
i'll keep my nickname because I keep my cbr250r in addition to the gw250.
Rating : 5/5 Respond to cbr250r
sincerely Rating : 5/5 Respond to cbr250r
If it makes 32 at less than 4000e, equipped with a twin-cylinder, it seems to me a good deal. Rating : 4/5 Respond to rene
i've ridden 600 to 750 cube bikes, and I've never had as much fun as with my cbr. I've got another buddy who's just given up his xj6 for a ninja 250r occaz because I showed him A B the right foundation for this displacement.
it's a shame that in france it's still the law of who's got the biggest kiki ^^ Rating : 5/5 Respond to cbr250r
Inazuma 250 4200. a difference of almost 2,000euro is not insignificant... I don't think they're going to put it any higher, they have no interest in doing so.
speaking of 250 motorcycles, i wonder why kawa is keeping their ninja 250 at 5000 euro when they originally launched it at 4300 euro... are we going to see a price war between the cbr 250 ninja 250 and the inazuma? Rating : 3/5 Respond to pinayo
