The Katana doesn't seem to have recovered from its infidelity with Akrapovic. First a gap in Italy with the Jintachi; then a reunion under cover of the S version in the French network... But we have to admit that the Slovenian manufacturer's arguments are tempting. However, the neo-retro roadster wants to respect the family tradition, and announces a marriage with its historical partner: Yoshimura.
for the occasion, it's not a princess dress that the Katana sports, but the Yosh coat of arms, menacing in blood and night - the complete paintwork is by AD-Koncept. The Japanese equipment manufacturer's ideograms appear on the sides of the tank, the carbon front mudguard and the titanium-bodied R-11 exhaust.
This element frees the 4-cylinder's voice, taking it into an aggressive song, giving it a spoonful of extra watts and already saving weight. Minimal, but half a kilo is always worth it.
this 1000 Katana Yoshimura announces its exclusivity by being available in a limited edition of 10. Symbolically, a sticker on the tank identifies the number of the machine in this small series. A perforated aluminum plate holder enhances and streamlines the Suzuki's rear end. Last but not least, a bespoke cover with the Katana logo drapes its slumbering body.
barely two months after the accessorized S version, Suzuki offers another special series of the Katana of the revival. As well as being more visually aggressive, the price is also more aggressive. And yet, the brand is making an effort, with a big customer advantage up its sleeve: Suzuki has announced a price of 1,450 euros, for a final price of just under 16,000 euros.
