presentation of the GSX-R 1000 R 100th Anniversary France 2021
Suzuki is enjoying one of its best Grand Prix seasons ever. Probably even the most successful. This performance, plus the 100th anniversary celebrations, give rise to a GSX-R 1000 R in the same color as the MotoGP prototype.
This limited series spread like wildfire. Initially marketed in Japan during the spring of 2020, it was gradually offered in the main European countries, finally arriving in France for the 2021 model year.
An electric blue imprisons the silver-grey that extends from the mudguard to the stern. These are the colors that Alex Rins wore on the top step of the podium at the Aragon GP. A symbol of victory, but also a last-ditch effort: the GSX-R 1000 R '21 will only be available in this color. And only 70 will be made. As the Suz is not Euro5-compliant, exemptions for its distribution are very limited.

We'll have to makedo with a hypersport whose name sounds like a devourer of competition and performance. Its 202-horsepower engine still gives the rider a serious charge and a real buzz. Its variable intake system gives it a thunderous peach at high revs.
As an R, it boasts improved suspension, including an inverted fork with external cartridges. Its electronic aids are in the middle of the pack, with 10-step adjustable traction control, an inertial unit, cornering ABS, an Up&Down shifter, anti-stoppie, a standing start assistant, 3 riding modes, a Low RPM assist and an Easy Start System for easy starting
The GSX-R 1000 brings a 20-year episode to a close. The saga began very simply: with total domination of the category.
