Motorcycle specifications Triumph 1200 Bonneville T 120 Blue Stealth Edition 2024 Meritorious discretion
presentation of the 1200 Bonneville T 120 Blue Stealth Edition 2024
Anchored in the Triumph range like the unicorn on Haddock's boat, the Bonneville is the tactical model for a whole host of variations(Bobber, Speedmaster, Thruxton, etc.) and special editions. So being part of the 2024 collection is an absolute must, as it is governed by the Stealth directive. The aim? Offbeat elegance with a gradient paint scheme.
Eight models are identified in this collection, with 6 different color schemes. The T120, like its 900 cm3 sibling, opts for blue. A deep, intense blue, extracted from the oceans between two waters, like the sapphire to which it gives its name. The Stealth singularity places it on a reservoir, where it attempts to cover absolute blackness - or perhaps the opposite is true.
Influenced by luminosity, the two-tone pattern is applied by hand after several stages of preparation, then covered with multiple coats of finish to deliver an impeccable, intense rendering. It's a meticulous job, which will cost you 800 euros more than a normal 1200 Bonnie. That's enough to break the 15-plate barrier if you add an accessory.
Whether it's Black, two-tone or Stealth, this Triumph stands out with its two major assets. A timeless look that takes us back to the heyday of the 650 Bonneville and its big 270° twin. The same twin that launched the new generation Modern Classic in 2016, with a big return in sensations. Imagine, it's gone from an 865 cm3 engine to this 1200 HT (High Torque) with 54% more torque.
If you're interested in this special version of the big Bonneville, you're probably familiar with its claims. But let's briefly recall its 80 hp and 10.7 mkg, its electronics with traction control, dual drive modes, USB connection and cruise control, its Brembo brakes and its comfort/punch combination. The price is sobering, but you know why.
