presentation of the 1200 Scrambler XE Icon Edition 2025
Not satisfied with a luxurious Scrambler? Would you like to take a senatorial roadster into the rough and tumble with a good-looking suit? That's what led you to this Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE Icon Edition. A machine that stands apart from current production, and of a high standard.
High but not flashy. The Icon collection is certainly the least extravagant since Triumph launched this kind of annual theme (Icon - Stealth - Chrome - Gold Line). But that doesn't stop it from having an undeniable British class.
The Icon is a delicate work of black and silver-grey, posed on the tank. The alchemy takes on its full meaning with the hand-painted gold edging, as if to accompany the key element of the evening without overshadowing it. Here, the Triumph logo takes pride of place on the dress. Also in gold, it comes from the brand's paddles. In fact, Triumph has used its 1907 coat of arms to authenticate all Icon models.
There's plenty to be proud of when riding this Scrambler. Firstly, because the pace is stepped up a notch. Secondly, the machine holds its own as a trail bike in off-road sectors. With its impressive suspension travel (250 mm), ground clearance worthy of a 700 Ténéré, 21-inch front wheel, spoked rims and the right tires, the XE is capable of taking you to places reserved for Tigers. There's no mistaking the name or the goods. The weight, on the other hand, is a wake-up call - 230 kg for off-roading takes some doing.
A noble Scrambler
Not to mention that the Scrambler XE does much to flatter the owner, with its handsome presentation and quality finish, Brembo Stylema brakes, remarkable aluminum swingarm, 90 energetic horsepower from the 1200 twin, fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension, and on-board electronics (IMU, six riding modes, traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control, color TFT screen, keyless start, USB port and backlit commodos).
But all this + the Icon Edition clothing gives the machine a serious makeover. You're looking at the top of the Scrambler and the Icon collection at the same time, and that's a price tag of over 17,000 euros.
